Our demands were as follows
1.Instruct the Police Commands nationwide to immediately stop harassing, threatening, assaulting, terrorizing, brutalizing and killing citizens who are peacefully protesting to the government to #EndSARSImmediately
2.The Public Trust in the Police is closer to zero than to one at this time and nothing marginal or tentative by the Inspector General will suffice for Citizens.
6.Announce to the #EndSARS protesters that the Nigeria Police will welcome an Independent Citizens’ Panel of Inquiry to document all the atrocities committed nationwide by rogue SARS officers for immediate prosecution and appropriate sanction.
The IG of @PoliceNG has said he would be addressing the citizens on Monday. He also instructed the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to meet with the protesters
Good evening everyone.
I am okay. I refused to run. I walked with my fist high up. @PoliceNG were all shooting at me as I walked away. I came out of the fence they cowardly built around themselves and about 4 of them came at me at the junction throwing bottled water this time 😁
With my fist still raised i told them how shameless they were. One of them cursed me and I gave it back to him. Only one of the bottled water they threw at me touched me slightly and from anyone far away with 4 of them throwing water bottles at me it would have seemed they had me
One of them had pushed me and the raised hand might be what some saw as a slap. No, I wasn't slapped and I refused to cower and I turned and gave them a piece of what I thought of their pathetic selves and if I am going to die, it would be with my fist high up and my mouth open

1. A sectional ruler
2 October 2010: Jonathan defends MEND in Abuja Independence Day bomb blast. He sides with terrorists and politicises the matter. 'What happened yesterday was a terrorist act and MEND was just used as a straw; MEND is not a terrorist group.'
Also, 'It is erroneous to think that my people who have been agitating for good living will deliberately blow up the opportunity they have, now,' Jonathan said
