Went with Dr Oby Ezekwesili @obyezeks , Maureen Kabrik @MKabrik @ibrahimu14 and @bonario89 to police headquarters after the teargassing and arrest of proteseters in Abuja. We met with the IG of @PoliceNG

Our demands were as follows
1.Instruct the Police Commands nationwide to immediately stop harassing, threatening, assaulting, terrorizing, brutalizing and killing citizens who are peacefully protesting to the government to #EndSARSImmediately

2.The Public Trust in the Police is closer to zero than to one at this time and nothing marginal or tentative by the Inspector General will suffice for Citizens.

Good evening everyone.
I am okay. I refused to run. I walked with my fist high up. @PoliceNG were all shooting at me as I walked away. I came out of the fence they cowardly built around themselves and about 4 of them came at me at the junction throwing bottled water this time 😁

With my fist still raised i told them how shameless they were. One of them cursed me and I gave it back to him. Only one of the bottled water they threw at me touched me slightly and from anyone far away with 4 of them throwing water bottles at me it would have seemed they had me

One of them had pushed me and the raised hand might be what some saw as a slap. No, I wasn't slapped and I refused to cower and I turned and gave them a piece of what I thought of their pathetic selves and if I am going to die, it would be with my fist high up and my mouth open

1) Get to know yourselves and form WhatsApp groups
2) Have State groups and then another for representative of each State.
3) Work out a strategy. Get a name
4) Get social media accounts
5) Get a hashtag

Begin to write statements and send for publication. Get media houses to take your issue up. Appearing on TV and radio will help a lot. You need to be focused, deliberate and strategic

Use your numbers.
Be ready to face persecution and called names. You guys also did it😁
