I'm not seeing much discussion of the massive damage that's been done to the Democratic Party.
The Democrats I know are cops, farmers, teachers; families who love America & their neighbors. They love the DP they knew from the past.
But the party has been wholesale hijacked.
The Clintons bear much of the blame for destroying the DP, but not all of it. The DP has sold out to multinational corporations, and allowed itself to be infiltrated by America-hating Marxists and other extremist splinter groups, while pandering for votes.
That's why Dems like Pelosi, Biden, Feinstein, Nadler, Tom Perez, Donna Brazile seem so hog-tied most of the time
Trump has been a GIFT to them, because they can focus all their public attention on him, and not on the deep divisions & fatal fractures in their party.
For example, they've embraced Antifa & BLM activists thinking that this will pull more voters to the DP, unified by their loathing of Trump.
The DP thinks it can "turn off" these protests like a spigot if/when they win the WH and Congress.
They're wrong.
Just like their embrace of the Squad: AOC, Tlaib, Pressly and Omar, those decisions are going to come back to bite them.
The Democratic Party has now taken the Marxists, anarchists and their poisonous ideologies right into the heart of the party, and it's going to kill them.
Democrats I know who are supporting the Biden-Harris ticket can't stand Trump, and like the old Joe Biden they knew from the 1970s, 80s & 90s.
They don't see - or refuse to believe - that Biden is a shell game - a political bait-and-switch. And they don't see what's behind him.
They don't understand that Kamala Harris - who got absolutely ZERO support in the Dem primaries - has been chosen for VP because she fits the suit and has few strong positions of her own. She'll do what she's told.
They don't understand the threat of packing the Supreme Court, eliminating the Electoral College, adding new states to the union. They don't understand that if those things happen, the states they live in will never draw the interest of Democratic presidential candidates again.
They don't see the riots in NYC, Atlanta, Seattle, Chicago, Portland, Kenosha - or the prolonged shutdowns in MI, NY and CA - or the flight from WA, OR, NY, IL & CA - as harbingers of the future.
They've been told that electing Biden will fix all that. And they believe it.
But there are plenty of Democrats who DO see what's happened. And they give a glimpse of the party's future. Tulsi Gabbard & Joe Manchin speak out against some positions & actions taken by their party, but still choose to stay in it, despite being courted by the GOP.
Other high-profile Democrats like Leo Terrell and Vernon Jones have all but left the party.
And then there are those voters who've joined the #WalkAway and #BLEXIT movements which have expressly left the Democratic Party.
To the extent anyone's asking about the Democratic Party, it's "What will happen if they lose in November?"
But the real question is, "What will happen if they WIN?"
All these splinter groups will expect their payoffs.
The protests & violence won't stop. Why should they? They worked - Democrats have caved to them.
The environmental extremists clamoring to shut down entire industries will expect action to be taken on those fronts, the impact on the economy be damned.
Others with their hands out will include those who demand that the police be defunded, who want the 2A abolished, and who demand federal control over housing and zoning. Not to mention the perennial calls for elimination of school choice and for higher taxes.
My patriotic friends who still vote Democrat - like the #NeverTrump Republicans - don't think any of these things will happen. They believe they'll get rid of Trump and all will be right with the world.
No one's asking what they'll do when they find out they've been deceived.

@Canadian_Hue@Tactical_review@KyleKashuv Actually, I agree with you. Many Americans are far less free than they could be. I can't compare it to other countries, but anyone who is a slave to their baser instincts (sexual excess, violence, substance abuse, sloth for example) is not free.
@Canadian_Hue@Tactical_review@KyleKashuv Liberty doesn't mean license. It has to be coupled with industry, initiative, a bit of self-discipline and concern for others. Without those internal constraints, you just get misery - anarchy and chaos.
@Canadian_Hue@Tactical_review@KyleKashuv Millions of Americans have been told - and believe - that "freedom" means "do whatever you want" and "democracy" means "other people pay for the consequences."
Um, no. Doesn't work that way.
All the guns on the planet won't save us from ourselves if enough of us live that way.
THREAD: 1. I saw a video of a black police officer telling a protester that "America has a sin problem."
He's right.
Racism, like all hatred and cruelty, is SIN. Separation from God. Sin of any kind is not unique to any race or class of people or country or era.
2. THAT'S what every Christian pastor should be preaching from the pulpit. Every sermon. Every Sunday. Now that we're online, every day.
We broke our worldview up into religious and secular decades ago. So we've lost the language of good and evil, and the sources of both.
3. This permits any mob that's loud enough - Hollywood, media, academic theorists, nihilist activists - to dictate what "good" and "evil" are, separate and apart from any natural law or universal order.
The results are predictably absurd, arbitrary and capricious.
1. Tickets weren't "sold" - anyone who wanted to go, could go. This means that yes, the crowd was definitely smaller than previous rallies.
2. The rally crowd was still substantial, enthusiastic and loud. And - duhhh - anyone concerned about COVID-19 who preferred not to attend, as well as anyone not in Tulsa, could watch online or on TV. And millions did.
3. So, bragging about what was, in essence, nothing but PsyOps is brain-dead stupid. You didn't stop anyone from attending. All you did was tip your hand.
Thank you.
Now we KNOW that Democrats are the ones who'll use foreign technology companies to interfere in an election.
I'm sure a lot of our police officers would LOVE to stop coming to calls about kittens in trees, homeless men without pants and traffic stops.
But the idea that bad people - and there ARE bad people - will be prevented, stopped or deterred by the use of social workers is insane.
We need only look at places where policing is thin or non-existent to see what will happen. Like the south side of Chicago last weekend. Or parts of Mexico controlled by the drug cartels.
We already have crime, and people inclined to commit it.
With fewer/no police, they will have no disincentive to refrain from committing crimes, and every incentive to commit them with impunity. Why would they not do what they want? Take what they want? Kill who they want?
"The press misstates @potus' every utterance but ignores Nancy Pelosi's asinine invitation to "Come visit Chinatown!" at the start of the pandemic, and forgives NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo's order requiring nursing homes to take in coronavirus patients."
The media's double standard is even more egregious when it comes to the media's treatment of Tara Reade's accusations of sexual assault against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Assoc Justice Brett Kavanaugh was not accused of rape. But the Left still called him a "rapist" and insisted that an accusation of sexual assault (forced kissing and groping) 35 years earlier, with no corroborating witnesses or evidence, must be believed.
"Higher ed has been in need of serious reform for years, and everyone knows it. Tuition has skyrocketed, and student loan debt cripples young graduates' ability to launch into their adult lives...
"Some courses seem to exist purely to gratify the interests of the faculty teaching them. Tenure can be used as a bludgeon to limit intellectual or ideological diversity. The costs of bloated administration often exceeds that of instruction...
"Student athletes make millions for the most successful programs and yet cannot profit from their own names or likenesses. Substance abuse and sexual assault are serious problems...
