The Family's Arrogance is our state's worst enemy...
Where personal agendas have become more important than the welfare of the citizens..
Where a decision taken to satisfy one's ego is now being masqueraded as "Saving the Environment"
Reminder 1) An independent committee instituted by the MVA government itself has said that the shifting of the Metro Car Shed from #aarey to #kanjurmarg will cost an additional Rs.4000 Crores.
How does the state government plan to fund this project ?
Reminder 2) The #kanjurmarg land was previously proposed by the @Dev_Fadnavis Govt. But the the complications caused by claims by private land owners meant the High Court had asked the state to deposit Rs.2400 CR in 2015 incase the decision goes in favor of the land owners.
Reminder 3 : Kanjurmarg Land is a marshy land, it is estimated that it will take more than 2 years for it to be made stable enough to build upon.
Where is the DPR or feasibility report for the new proposed land parcel ? Who is going to bear the additional expenditure ?
Reminder 4 : This current phase of Metro was supposed to start operation by next year, shifting the car shed to Kanjurmarg means a indefinite delay, and additional expenditure of Rs.2400 Cr if land dispute is not settled and case is moved to supreme court.
₹400 crore already spent for #Aarey CarShed
Plus ₹1300 crore wasted due to staying of the project
Plus ₹4000 crore additional cost escalation.
A delay of almost 4 years.

That is the cost the citizens of the state are bearing to satisfy the ego of one family.

‘माझे कुटुंब, माझी जबाबदारी’ Hon. CM's pet initiative,while noble in it's intention, is completely flawed in it's execution.
The door-to-door awareness & #Covid19 Screening campaign carried out by diverting our much needed public funds & resources has been a massive failure.(1/5)
Official numbers from the Phase 1 ( 15/09 - 10/10) of the ‘माझे कुटुंब, माझी जबाबदारी’ campaign are either grossly overstated & fudged or are made up from random & fake data collection. They claim that 1029 official teams have already screened 29.93Lakh Punekars for COVID19 (2/5) Image
Even if it was possible for 1058 teams made up of officials & volunteers to physically visit 9.42 Lakh households across #Pune in just 25 Days, how is that they found only 8735 Citizens with flu like symptoms with only 1233 among them who tested positive for #COVID19 (3/5)

It has been over 195 days since Gyms across MH have not been allowed to open doors to their patrons. Gyms which have even less density of gatherings & much greater social distancing requirements than malls, public transport have been subject to unfair restrictions. (1/6)
State's reluctance to reopen Fitness Centers, when other states are adhering to Central Government's notification to relax guidelines is damaging to the fitness industry & its patrons. Livelihood of over 30 thousand families in #Pune are directly affected by this closure. (2/6)
Gym owners, operators, trainers & patrons are the most health conscious citizens. Gyms follow every protocol pertaining to members’ safety and promote healthier and better well-being. Closure of Gyms and Fitness clubs is counterproductive to health & immunity of patrons. (3/6)

Citizens from across #Pune have approached me over the past few weeks, sharing stories of banks & financial institutions sending physically intimidating recovery agents to their homes, threatening their families and extorting money due as EMI's under threat of violence. (1/n)
The RBI & Central Government intervened and gave millions of Indians an opportunity to avail moratorium during the first few months of #LockDown
Unfortunately, there are still many citizens, who are finding it difficult to generate sufficient income to pay their Loan EMI’s (2/n)
Although I respect and understand the need of Banks and Financial Institutions to recover their loans and thus enforce provisions present in their contracts, I am distressed by the numerous complaints of aggressive tactics used by banks for their loan recovery. (3/n)

It has been over 6 months since restaurants across Maharashtra have not been allowed to open doors to for dine-in customers. While Hotels, Public Transport and Malls are allowed to re-open, restaurants with similar crowd gatherings have been subject to unfair restrictions (1/6)
Although the first months of restrictions was understandable, the State's reluctance to allow dine-in services even after the Central Government's notification to relax guidelines has truly been detrimental to the survival of the restaurant industry. (2/6)
Livelihood of estimated 2 Lakh families has been directly affected by this indecision.
Also the State Govt. has not been forthcoming about the possible date of relaxation, causing immense fear and uncertainty in minds of restaurant owners, employees and suppliers. (3/6)

29 days since CM @OfficeofUT ji (via VC), Dy.CM @AjitPawarSpeaks ji declared that 1950 beds spread across 3 Jumbo Centers are ready to treat critical #COVID19 patients in #Pune.
It is infuriating to know that almost 45% beds are still inoperational today (1/5)
AS of today COEP Jumbo #Covid Hospital has only 330 Beds (270 Oxygen, 30 ICU, 30 ICU Ventilator) operational instead of 800 (600 Oxygen + 200 ICU) expected to successfully treat critical patients with advance stages of infection & help reduce the mortality rate of #Pune (2/5)
Currently there are only 4 ventilators available for #Pune City across Govt & Private Hospitals. These numbers are all from official dashboard, the on-ground situation is even worse. Everyday patients are losing their lives due to lack of early intervention & ventilators. (3/5)

#Pune crossed a major milestone of 100000 citizens who have successfully recovered from #COVID19 infections. While on the one hand we are still trying to control infections, improve recovery rates and reduce mortality rate, we cannot ignore the importance of Post-COVID care (1/n)
Studies have shown that most #COVID19 recovered patients continue to exhibit unpleasant side-effects. An estimated 75% of patients who suffered severe forms of infection return back to hospitals complaining of chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, stress and anxiety. (2/n)
Residual effects of #COVID19 can vary from mild fatigue (taking weeks to recover) to severe symptoms that take several months to recover. Numerous patients have also reported permanent damage to their lungs & kidneys, impaired cardiac function, and mental health issues (3/n)
