Good morning @kanyewest , I want to tell you the story of a Nigerian life. It might make you weep but never forget it. The day you are born as a Nigerian is the day you are subject to abuse and aware that you have to live in fear. #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria
You are subject to abuse of the rich, we have a caste system, that ensures that the poor people are never right. You are made understand that your place is like that of a Serf, in a country that is meant to be free @kanyewest , we go through hell #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria
We grow old and our government pegs month minimum wage at less than $100. Laughable? Yes, our minimum wage monthly is less than $100 @kanyewest . We don't have constant electricity, we only enjoy 6-10hrs electricity a day and the cost is very high #ReformTheNigerianPolice
We provide the potable water we use in our homes. Our government knows nothing about street security. We are forced to pay for night security personnels, from the slim minimum wage of less than $100. Now @kanyewest imagine living like this and...#ReformTheNigerianPolice
Now @kanyewest imagine living in this situation and yet, your life isn't protected. You walk on the road and rogue police men will kidnap you and take you to the ATM and Rob you of over $500 of your life savings. Sometimes they even kill victims. #ReformTheNigerianPolice
@kanyewest the Nigerian youths are not fighting for anything that is a privilege. We are fighting for the most basic of human right. Our right to live. This is why I call and plead with you, to add your powerful voice to this campaign, a campaign to preserve our lives #EndSARS

Guys, there is gist.
A police friend just gave me some details about this whole issue on SARS, we might be in the middle of a cartel war.
I don't every thing police me say to be 100% true but just read and learn. #EndPoliceHarassment #SarsMustGoNow #SarsMustEnd
He said, the larger population believe that 419 and Yahoo boys are one and the same. He says it is a big lie. 419, are the old established order who are in bed with top hierarchy of the police, he says the romance goes long before now #SarsMustGoNow #SARMUSTEND
He says the old established order which is 419, used to view the new guys in town as small boys (Yahoo boys) until, the Yahoo boys started cashing out madly and started affecting the clientele of the 419ers and as such, the kickbacks, police and their bosses got. #SarsMustGoNow
@ProfOsinbajo I usually tag you because I believe somewhere inside you, is a reasonable person. The bigger danger of this #EndSars protest is the repercussions & how it might our polity. Let's not forget that Boko Haram became a terrorist group because of extra judicial killing
@ProfOsinbajo , it was the killing of the Boko Haram leader, extrajudicially that led the group to terrorism. Now the Nigerian state is repeating the same mistake in the south. When a govt fails to give the people hope against oppression, you turn them to beasts and monsters
The actions of @PoliceNG might have great repercussions for this country that we might not be able to solve. The police are building a foundation of hate and we all know what hatred can do. Don't let the police allow hatred and the thirst for vengeance to thrive.
Right now over bottles of beer. A friend of mine asks. What is your love/hate relationship with Tinubu. I raised my head and smiled, 'I don't hate him'. Do you love him? He queried. I gulped my drink and replied, 'I am indifferent'. You see unlike most of you, I know a lot.
Nigerian politicians are like the typical Yoruba Eshu, who does evil and good at the same time. You either choose to live them for their good side or you just focus on their bad. For a lot of people, they focus on the good that Tinubu does. I focus on his goofs.
While a lot of you hate Tinubu with a passion. I can't afford to hate him but I can't afford to ignore his goofs either. He has his good sides and that good side is, he believes in talents and help build people's dream. Give that to him, it is a rare aspect amongst politicians.
There are 4 sectors that can revive the Nigerian economy outside oil and gas, agriculture but because @NigeriaGov and state governments are too lazy to act. 1. Transport- The laziest government & most unproductive, I have seen in terms of solving transport issues is @followlasg
Lagos State has no business still using danfo buses. It is just the lazy approach of our politicians to muddle up things and politicize everything that makes a mega city like @followlasg to still think Danfo buses serve a purpose. Go to Abuja and see how much you suffer in lag.
The transportation overhaul of danfo buses in Lagos and the use of metroline and registered cabs like @AkinwunmiAmbode planned would have helped raise the revenue of the state. The reason why productive hours in Lagos State are spent on the road is danfo buses.
Most times when I think about reincarnation, the thought of coming back to this dimension called earth scares me, but then trapped in Nigeria with a mind that always creates and there isn't so much enabling ground to bring them to reality, I know I will keep coming back.
Truth is, I am extremely creative. I hear songs in my head and I have loads of songs I have written. I have published poems and I have written and sold scripts even when I never studied literature. Most people have no idea how the creative mind works, it's a curse and a gift.
The only time you are truly in a good mood is when you do what you love doing and at other times when you do what pays the bills, even though it might be highly rewarding in terms of monetary reward, you just feel like you are existing.
How not to live is to love your country when it means nothing to the millions of people you share the country with. It's unfortunate but I love this country, it's a scar I will take with me for like. The lack of priorities and focus hurts me, but then, what can a man do?
A life unexamined is not worth living, perfectly describe the way Nigerians have misplaced priorities as regards interest. We can blame Buhari every morning but as individuals, we are all guilty of how the ship of nationhood is sinking, every one of us.
Interview a million Nigerians & what their interest is, will shock you. Only 3 out that 1million believe in collective interest. 70% of that 1million won't even know the meaning of collective interest. If we've no idea what collective interest is, how can we prosper as a nation?
