As you play you get new tech and costume options from allies you make or enemies you defeat, from labs you explore and computers you hack.
Want to play a tubby, short Indian girl who wears orange and black and calls herself Tarantulara? Cool. Want to play a bulky white jock who accepts a symbiote? You got it.
Of course the worlds rip and you meet other spiderverse characters, but your world is distinctly yours.

And you can start interacting with the random npcs who frequent their job areas and a home area... just interacting morr than once starts to build up relationships- enemies, friends, lovers... and maybe they may get kidnapped.
