1./ I was just sent a video by @PeterTatchell celebrating 50 years since the Gay Liberation Front was founded. I hope you like my slight enhancement. How strange that in NONE of the archive is there a single appearance of those acronyms LGBT or LGBTQ. Wonder why? 👇
2./ You know for sure Peter would have chiselled them in if he could have found a single image. But just like the claim that trans people started the Stonewall riot the truth is trans people didn’t play a significant role in the founding of GLF. Nor did Peter.
3./ Peter didn’t arrive in the UK until the following year. The year before that a 19 year old women called @BevJacksonAuth became GLF spokesperson and told the Times, “we are not ashamed to be homosexual”. Almost exactly a year ago in 2019 she co-founded @ALLIANCELGB 
4./ For all his faults Peter has helped achieve gay rights but he has no right to erase the achievements of the Lesbian and Gay movement or subsume us under whatever acronym is fashionable this month. “We are not ashamed to be homosexual”. #Pride #lgbhistory
