Limitation is something that control the size or extent of something. Limitation also determines how much of a thing is possible. It controls what a person is able to do, placing a limit on what is achievable.
The human mind has placed a strong limitation around it, contrary to #dominion that God had in mind at the beginning (Genesis 1:26). It sets the limits to what one can attain.
Believers are not supposed to allow whatever is contrary to God's word in their mind (Romans 12:2).
If God and Jesus cannot be limited, so also is a Believer
Where you are today is not a function of your background. Take Jabez as an example (I Chronicles 4:9-10). Until you refuse to take the obvious as the reality, you may not be able to break limits.
Nature of limitations (I Corinthians 16:8-9) 1) An opposition - the devil is our adversary (I Peter 5:8) 2) A weakness - Jabez, Moses (Exodus 4:10-13),
Don't ask like you are pitying God when asking (Matthew 7:7). Ask to the maximum level of your faith.
Rising beyond limitations (Philippians 4:13) 1) Depend on God's ability (1 Samuel 2:9) 2) Walk by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). 3) Operate in God's wisdom (Luke 21:14-15)
The language of limitation does not exist in the Believer's dictionary. Decree in faith (2 Corinthians 4:13)
There is a strategy to solve every problem, so, you can ask for wisdom for the current situation.
God has created you to be above limits. It is time to rise and begin to operate at the level which God has planned for our lives.
At this juncture, decree that every mountain become plain ground, receive God's wisdom to handle every situation, we take dominion, we subdue every opposing force, in Jesus name. Amen
- We are called, as believers, to a life that is only inhibited in God.
- This life is not by what you did or are doing; it is by God's grace.
DIVINE, means a deity or God. NATURE, means of this world.
DIVINE NATURE: God's ability that controls the world or the way of God that controls personality or character.
Empowerment is the process of becoming stronger. The life we live as Christians is an empowered life.
Believers are ordinary people who have been supernaturally empowered by God. It should be evident in our lives that things are working for us beyond the ordinary.
We have the resources of Heaven backing us up so it may not be about having excess but having an assurance that we can never be stranded.
Elijah was a man of faith. One who believed strongly in the word of God. He made sure He held on to the promise of rain even when it didn't seem like it. He was persistent till the fulfillment of the word came.
Faith is described as continued action in the absence of evidence.
When you have Grace for Speed, all other natural laws are suspended. People will question your victories and accomplishments because it's unfathomable by human understanding.
Recap: The church is the ground and pillar of truth. As believers, we make up the church hence there are certain traits and conducts required of us. Last week we considered Simplicity and Sincerity. Today, we look further to learn other traits we must possess as true believers.
SUBMISSION (John3:8): A believer should be workable and teachable not having a rigid mind. If indeed Jesus is your LORD, you should learn to say YES to Him at all times.
- Exceeding means to surpass or to transcend and grace is an unmerited favor.
- Exceeding grace is a type of grace that eliminates all human possibilities.
- Exceeding grace is an unmerited grace and it is one of God's promises to us.
1Timothy 1:14
- The grace of God is limitless. No matter what you are passing through, the exceeding grace of god is able to move you from the level of ordinary to extraordinary.
