"Brother Nikolai, I would like to see you after the service for a brief discussion".

"No problem". Replies Brother Nikolai.

Service ends and we find a place to sit and talk.

"Brother, I want to know how you and your wife flow so easily in the Spirit?"

"...I see the ease at which both of you flow in tongues and I really want this so much. I have been a worship minister for years and even have three albums yet I cannot touch that realm you both touch.

When you and your wife give comments during midweek service..."

"...I keep wondering if this is the gospel I live because you both speak with so much love and show a reality I feel is only for GO. How can I become like you?"

Brother Nikolai responds "The question should be - how can you become like Christ. It is Him you must become".

"Ok. How?"

"Would you be free to have lunch with us this weekend?" Brother Nikolai asks

"Definitely!" Sister responds instantly.

It's Saturday noon when sister comes to the house and immediately she walks in, the Holy Spirit impresses a question to ask the sister.

"Sister, are you carrying any guilt from a past experience that happened in 2012?

Sister becomes quiet and sighs deeply. She looks around and stutters.

He said "Sister, there is no condemnation here so please allow the Holy Spirit work. We all have a past but some are..."

"...worse than others but in Christ, it does not matter regardless of what people tell you. It is only given to God to judge and not man in his carnal nature so please speak freely".

"Yes. It was July of 2012 when I went ahead with an abortion. I was seeking fame at all cost..."

"...that I lost sight of everything and got involved with an NURTW Chairman at my area. I was a worship minister then but I lived a secret life".

She pauses and sighs

"The burden of that guilt still eats me up and even when I got married..."

"...it became worse and when I lost my first pregnancy; I told myself repeatedly - 'there's blood on your hands and that is the reason God took the child - it is a sin and the wages of sin is death'".

"I sunk into depression and contemplated suicide."

"My husband was there for me - encouraging and encouraging, praying and laying hands until we got pregnant again and despite my depression, we gave birth to a boy"

Everyone was quiet. Who won't be but deep down, Brother Nikolai was smiling because religion is evil.

It would show you the half of something but never the full and that was why the law could never give liberty until Jesus came and grace was made available to us.

"Sister, you quoted Romans 6:23 but just half of it so I want us to read it that our understand is enlightened...

"... so please read it - “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”. Did you see the "but"; it emphasises an alternative.

"Now, let us read another scripture - Romans 8".

She begins to read v1 and suddenly, it dawned on her!

What part opened her eyes?

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

She asked - What Spirit?

"The Holy Spirit" I responded.

With tears dropping she said "I want you Holy Spirit".

Hands were laid on her and that was it... the dam broke, the burden shattered!

Brother Nikolai heard chains falling off and behold, she was swaying as she went into deep tongues.

Brother Nikolai encouraged her to sing a song and yes, it was different from what he heard her sing in church.

It was a powerful moment and tears flowed freely among everyone there.

It took one hour and some minutes for the presence to lift.

"How do you feel?" He asked

"Liberated! Uplifted! Loved! Adored!"

The next day was Sunday; she was to lead and immediately she opened her mouth, it was a river of tongues - everywhere scattered!

The Pastor started crying. He understood! The Holy Spirit has found expression!

It was a powerful service and from her, others came to know the secret but in reality, there was none - it was the Holy Spirit and He makes all the difference.

I perceive by the Spirit of God that many of you are just discouraged and carrying the half part of Romans 6:3.

I have been there and I understand but I want to say this: AT NO POINT IN THE BIBLE WAS GOD CALLED THE ACCUSER!

AT NO POINT WAS IT GIVEN TO MAN TO CONVICT OF SIN!

We know who the accuser is - but he has been conquered and until you understand this...

...you will continue to be a shadow of the glorious things spoken of you just as the law was a shadow of the Light of Christ.

The grace of God is made available. God loves you...eternally!
