.@GovWhitmer: "With the election behind us, now is the time for us to find common ground and come together. It's time for us, both as a nation and and a state, to come together, because we still have a lot of work to do. We have a common enemy. It's #COVID19." #Election2020

.@GovWhitmer: "The Legislature has said time and time again they want to have a role. If they really want to be a partner in fighting this virus, we invite them to take this step as the very first thing they do when they reconvene." #COVID19 #MILeg
.@GovWhitmer asks families to start thinking about the holiday season, including Thanksgiving.

"What are you going to do to stay safe? How can you stay connected with your loved ones without all coming together and potentially exposing one another to #COVID19?"
.@DrKhaldun: If we don't change our behavior, we could be seeing up to 100 deaths a day by December.

She says cases of #COVID19, hospitalizations and outbreaks are all up. Outbreaks include small social gatherings and notes workplaces should keep employees virtual if possible.
.@GovWhitmer: "People are tired. We're all tired of wearing masks. We are all tired of dealing with COVID. And yet, ignoring the problem is making it worse. We have to acknowledge COVID is a reality." #COVID19

The Edenville and Sanford dams have breached, @GovWhitmer confirms.

"Please get somewhere safe now," Whitmer says.

Thousands of people still need to evacuate, she says, including in Tittabawassee Twp, Thomas Twp, Saginaw Twp, Midland and Sanford.
Downtown Midland could be under approximately nine feet of water in the next 12 to 15 hours, @GovWhitmer says, after multiple dams failed in the area.
"To go through this in the midst of a global pandemic is almost unthinkable," @GovWhitmer says.

She asks everyone going to shelters to wear their masks and maintain social distancing as best they can. #COVID19
