(1) Like others, I predicted this months ago.

First it will be voluntary services like concerts that require a vax or negative test, then it will be governments, for lifesaving things. It couldn't be more crucial for Republicans to keep the White House & Senate. Here's why.
(2) Requiring a vax or -ve test will do absolutely nothing to ensure a person doesn't bring covid into a building or space.

Not only is it possible to carry the virus before that will show up in a test, the only failsafe way to keep it out is effective quarantine for >14 days.
(3) If a negative test were reliable then no one would need to require 14 day quarantine, such as that the NZ govt requires of arriving airline passengers.

Now, the big problem with mandatory testing is what it can lead to, such as arbitrary detention in high risk settings.
(4) Everything shd be done to encourage certain groups to get tested at the appropriate time for them. When folk know they cd be detained and lose control of their own self-management of their health (eg at home) they won't get tested.

Similarly, mandatory vaxing never works.
(5) No sensible public health advisor supports mandatory vaccination. Requiring it before allowing a child to enter a kindergarten is different. The parents can opt out.

As soon as government starts requiring it, some folk will go completely off the grid.
(6) Once they do that, government has lost control of the situation. Some say "let them die" but you must remember, children are usually involved in this, and the state has a duty to protect them.

The only practical way to do that is keep vaccines voluntary.
(7) The USA is the only country in the world that takes individual civil rights seriously, by enforcing them.

Most foreigners don't understand this, and have been taught to hate the USA for it.

So, disregard their opinions. Listen instead to _informed_ commentators, like me.
(8) Most foreigners don't realize it yet, but the USA does the world a great service just by existing.

It is the shining city on a hill, the last stand for freedom.

"Exporting freedom" is indeed a thing. And it doesn't involve wars.
(9) You export freedom by persuasion and leading by example. You change the hearts and minds of those willing to listen.

And thus, you improve the USA's position in trade and other international processes of benefit to the USA.
(10) Reagan was right about so many things, but especially foreign policy.

He worked for 8 years to win the Cold War, and his successor got to have the Berlin Wall fall the year he left office. That's OK, he doesn't "need" the credit.
(10) Reagan understood American freedom, deep down. He had seen the Communists in Hollywood in the 40s & 50s, as the head of the largest actor's trade union. It's what made him #WalkAway from the Democrats, like millions of us have since.
(11) Mandatory testing (with a woefully unreliable test) or mandatory vaccination will NEVER be allowed under a Republican administration.

This is a hill to die on, just like properly auditing the recent election is.
(12) I'm going to start a new thread, linked below, with Reagan quotes, because I think that will be helpful at this time.

Stay alert to things like mandatory testing, whether by a private or public entity.

Do your own household #prepping, urgently.

Keep the faith. Hold the line. Own the Libs.

(1) My impressions of the small change in Twitter's messaging today.

For months, I've had the (unwanted) style of Image 1 on my sidebar and today it reverted to the style of Image 2. ImageImage
(2) I've been saving screenshots of various Twitter headlines since election day, bc the issues they choose to promote say a lot about where the thinking of the DNC is at. You can tell when they are panicking... and it's going to get a lot worse for them in the coming months. Image
(3) They were always planting seeds in the minds of TDS sufferers. The below image is from 9/15/2020: Image

(1) Thread: What would Reagan do?

Here are a bunch of Reagan quotes that are worth remembering at this time.

If you know of one I've missed, add it in the replies, thanks!

(1) Thread on President Trump's secret weapon: Melania Knauss Trump.

Born in Slovenia, 1970. Country was Yugoslavia at the time, part of the Eastern Bloc of Soviet-controlled countries. Probably secretly Catholic (Christian & Jewish religions were banned there at the time.)
(2) Whether Melania was born into a Catholic family or not, she is certainly a woman of the Christian faith, and appears to have great respect for (traditional not socialist) Catholicism. Enthusiastic when visiting the Vatican, but that can be the effect of holding any faith.
(3) But but she was a topless model once, I hear our adversaries say. (Every time I celebrate Melania, they say this, and worse.)

I'm a woman of around Melania's age. Even a devout Christian wd do work like that if it meant achieving a career goal. Let's talk about her career.

(1) Musings of a foreign interferer.

It's one of the labels I attach to myself, because of Democrat hypocrisy. I'm not legally allowed to buy an official MAGA hat, bc it's a campaign contribution, & I'm a foreign national.

Yet other foreign nationals can buy US elections.
(2) "Foreign interference" clearly means different things to different people. So I have a bit of fun with the term.

Ironically, socialist John Lennon said this:
(3) I'm tweeting today about a whole range of subjects and will add some of it to this thread.

Remember to do electronic #prepping today, tomorrow etc.

Have your own data backed up somewhere, preferably not only on the cloud.

Be strict with yourself on your priorities.

(1) Headline: "Doctors begin to unlock the mystery behind long-term Covid-19."

Actually, doctors have been working on this for many months but I'm glad they're getting some recognition.

Many kinds of infection can lead to lasting issues. Not just this one.
(2) I think it is something that we, the public, should be more aware of. The aftermath of an infection can be difficult to diagnose, let alone treat. Some are specifically known about, others are vague and general. You don't want to get that kind, trust me.
(3) "Post viral fatigue" is a thing. It can last a few weeks or months then goes away. Or it can last years, or be permanent. It can recur, which makes it hard to distinguish from a new disease process.

There are many names for this kind of syndrome.

(1) A quick comment on this: "Our lawyers have asked for “meaningful access”, but what good does that do? The damage has already been done to the integrity of our system, and to the Presidential Election itself. This is what should be discussed!"
(2) I copied the text in case TWTR tries to restrict it.

POTUS is running two-track process, as he always does. One is the legal process, the other is the political one.

He's not questioning the action of his own attorneys, which is based on his instructions. He is...
(3) Sorry, re-doing this tweet because of a typo.
