NIGERIANS DONT KNOW NIGERIA
Nigeria is not a sachet economy. A fickle-minded few, whose horizon is bounded by d perimeter of their mother's beer parlour will tell u it is. Have u heard about Escravos-Gas-To-Liquid, a rare gas monetization innovation hidden in d creeks of Nigeria?
Gas-to-liquid (GTL) is a new technological innovation that converts natural gas to ultra-pure, sulphur free diesel & naphtha. All over the world, there's currently only two! The first is ORYX GTL, Qatar, the second is Nigeria's Escravos-Gas-To-Liquid (EGTL), operated by Chevron.
Nigeria's GTL combines a slurry phase distillate process called Fischer–Tropsch, a patent technology of Sasol Synfuels, South Africa and Chevron's Isocracking refining technology. The kick-off process is a delicate bombardment of liquid oxygen with natural gas at over a 1000°C.
Refiners globally pursue Nigeria's GTL as a blending stock. The diesel isnt meant for cars/trailers. This innovation provides economic backbone for d infrastructure that allows some of you morons tweet nonsense and champion hatred against a country you know next to nothing about.
Nigeria's economy is one of d most resilient in d world. Its unlikely any other country can sustain govt's kind of financial plundering, tax evasion by elites, and awoof galala state welfare squandered on men who impregnate their wives 9 times in a face-me-I-face you at Amukoko.
Nigeria's economy has done far better than d Nigerian society. Politicians are stealing, but also beg your parents to stop giving birth to 26,000 children/day. UK added about 9Million to its population in 20yrs. Nigeria added 93Million! All oil in Africa cannot provide for this.
Uncontrolled child birth has created poverty in Nigeria more than corruption in government. UK has ~300,000 Doctors for a population of 67Million people. Nigeria has ~74,000 for 206Million! How does this make sense assuming Doctors in the UK and Nigeria earn the same salary?
FG and State Govt have not done well in Nigeria and the governors are the biggest thieves, but also, Nigeria has survived the shenanigans of its masses and entire populace. An average Nigerian is very shitty when it comes to work attitude, but wants the minimum wage in New York.
Twitter becomes a conference for idiots the moment Subject Matter Experts of frivolities wake up with dried saliva mark from their mouth drawn to the ear start tweeting. A lot is happening in Nigeria many of us dont know. Its not showing because we failed at coalescing systems.
Many of what is private today are dubious conversion of what was govt's. There was a time many of the commercial airlines are filled with Nigerian Airforce pilots who jumped ship. Till today, many of those pointing fingers at govt still rape the govt at the expense of the public.
Fighting police brutality in Nigeria was long overdue but like goats, we did it in a pandemic. Everything we gained with lockdown we burnt after lockdown and fathers with 25liters size of scrotum are clapping. These public assets burnt for nothing will be replaced with oil money.
Nigerians just see FAAC share money monthly, they dont ask where money is coming from. Its not just GTL, we have strategic innovations FG wont come & announce on twitter. Brazil's credit rating is now -BB, South Africa is junk, but creditors are chasing us with loans. E get why.
In a pandemic, oil isnt selling, yet Nigeria isnt sinking. When they see the nation is truly not sinking, they will say but its skies are falling.
As bad as it is, d thieves in govt have a better sense of obligation compared to people who mould opinion here with false narratives.

THINGS WE COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY
Its time to stop making it look like #EndSARS is primarily responsible for the current spate of robbery all around us. The protest is well intentioned, but robbers now gun down bullion van in daylight. This turn of events may consume us all.
Its unlikely there's any living Nigerian who havent received a dose of @PoliceNG madness. But now that we are becoming estranged with many people we share banter with, over a cause that's meant to end police high-handedness; this should make us take a step back in introspection.
That somebody added Rev. Sam Adeyemi's name to a criminal complaint filed in Abuja is like an acute madness to me. The complainant also told the court, rightly so, his investments were burnt. At this point, the people we should dread most are the conspiracy theorists amongst us.
AT LEKKI TOLL GATE
When I offered a few a place to sleep, many of the online propagandists who continually heat up the polity with incitements were tweeting "why ladies?" As small as the offer is, this is what others and churches saw and started asking people to come for shelter.
@UN's Declaration on the Protection of Women and Children in Emergency and Armed Conflict stipulates priority protection of women and children. International Committee of Red Cross has its equivalent (30-10-85 article, No. 248) for priority first aid treatment. Its common sense!
Ironically, its women who started querying why women, before men. This is d extent to which many stoking this fury are ignorant and tweeting it from their homes when these people are in peril.
I'm not in Lagos, talk more of being at the place I asked people to run to for shelter.
Dear @Mochievous@fkabudu@mrmacaronii@falzthebahdguy
Nigerians, not just youths, owe u gratitude for pushing issues that have troubled us for ages to d front burner. Unlike spineless keypad warriors, u followed your conviction with affirmative actions, at d risk of your lives.
Now that d outpouring of goodwill from Nigerians towards you is unwavering is also d time you should show astuteness with d peaceful #EndSARS protests. Coalesce your resources, deftness & ideas into helping Govt bring to a halt, violence unleashed by thugs hiding behind #EndSARS
Its dubious for failed presidential aspirants, who want to live their unfulfilled dreams through you to have claimed #EndSARS have no leaders. You are the leaders! Saying otherwise is an old trick, with which they portray you as humble, so as to leave the cockpit empty for them.
#ENDSARS- IN BUHARI'S FAVOUR
The seat of the president isn’t as powerful in a federal democracy as we often think, except d occupier is brazenly tyrant. Buhari's sarcastic emphasis and throat clearing, when announcing d amount NASS appropriated to itself for 2021 buttresses this.
If there's no #EndSARS protest and the arrest of erring policemen are ordered, there would have been conspiracy theories saying it's a move targeted at "Christian" policemen, seeing that many of the policemen accused of being brutal are Christians of southern extraction.
If govt had gone after CSP James Nwafor who was accused of killing one Chijioke Iloanya, there'd have being questions asked about other killer policemen in the West or elsewhere who aren't Igbos. Now it seems #EndSARS is louder than the usual ethnic jingoism or religious bigotry.
THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO NIGERIA
Everything should be done to encourage youth's freedom of expression, but how did #EndSARS protests across Nigeria become a battle of wits between "generations?" I belong to Gen X. If we did nothing under soldiers, there'd have been no Nigeria.
There's nothing legitimate about disparaging one generation or another. The part that surprised me most is how the 'baby boomers' are trying to outdo themselves at given validity to the narratives that "except for those protesting now, all other generations have failed Nigeria."
Its a thing of pride to see @falzthebahdguy & the brains behind @feminist_co enter into the trenches where Gani, Fela, Beko, Soyinka, Saro-wiwa, Kokori, Tony Fash had passed many nights before. Sowore is on this list too, even if the engine oil in his head is now due for change.
SARS WAS NEVER MEANT TO FIGHT ROBBERY
That SARS should end shouldnt have been up for debate if Nigerians know that SARS was d Police wing of Ibrahim Maradona Babangida's terror machination, set up to crush prodemocracy agitations in 1992, before the eventual 1993 June 12 impasse.
Its true that Danladi Mirenda gave d coinage 'SARS' to his team when he was moved from Benin to Lagos in 1992, but this team were men from FCID, Adeniji Adele, Zone 2 Anti-Robbery & State CID Panti. These anti-robbery units were already doing hatchet jobs for Halilu Akilu's DMI.
Publishers of TELL Magazine will have a full library compliment of how SARS in 1992 hounded Gani, Beko, Mayegun and others at the peak of Babangida's scheme to transform himself into a civilian President, after the sham elections that gave majority seats to his front party, NRC.
