Arrested and remanded by competent court. Bail plea was heard for 9 days. He was arrested with others. Detailed reply was filed. They should approach the HC
Kapil Sibal: No not yet. We have not been served
CJI: then serve them
CJI: there was very unfair reporting about our earlier order. It was said we denied you relief.
Sibal: I have nothing to do with it. Unfair reporting happens everyday
SG: Such reports need to be clarified. Yes there was inaccurate reporting
Sibal: Please my lord, we can prove that everything in the affidavit is ex facie false
SG: Mr Sibal does not leave any option to make it a bit political
CJI: SG says Kappan was accused and remanded by court. He was accused of certain offences. Why don't you approach the HC?
Sibal: We went to the jail authorities to meet him, we were asked to go to the magistrate, and then magistrate told us that #SupremeCourt has not ordered so
SG: We have no objection to them approaching the accused and take his signature
CJI: SG says there is no objection to an adv approaching the accused for sign or vakalatnama wherever the accused is.
