Good morning! The last of our #GovernanceNow2020 breakfast sessions has kicked off with @OfficialCause4 - hosted by @Djhackney - looking very hygge!
@OfficialCause4 @Djhackney We're looking at the #future of #governance today and starting by looking at what helps and hinders innovation.
@OfficialCause4 @Djhackney what hinders innovation?
@OfficialCause4 @Djhackney For our break-out room discussions, we're asking how to #stimulate and #respond to challenges. Some interesting thoughts about how future board meetings might evolve to make the most of online platforms as well as gathering in-person. How might we set agendas accordingly?
@OfficialCause4 @Djhackney Example given of asking 50% of Board members to imagine themselves in 2050 and to comment on strategic plans / ideas as if it was 2050 whilst the others think about the current context in a discussion about 'where next'. Inspired by japanpolicyforum.jp/society/pt2019…
#innovative
@OfficialCause4 @Djhackney and a really good blog piece from @SignHealth 's Jackie Driver was referenced too. Worth a read: cause4.co.uk/blog/conversat…
