Every newsletter should have its own website.

Thinking while planning the same for FreelanceBytes

My #buildinpublic journey begins.
Goals for the week:

1. Creating a basic landing page + better signup form

2. Ditching WordPress for a better host for archives

3. Learn to build a self-hosted newsletter
Booked a domain - done!
Setup a subdomain for archive - done!
Improved the logo- done!
Day 2

1.Wrote some copy for sign up page. Using @carrd for the page

2. Set up archives using a static blog builder and hosting.

@GetPublii is improving day by day. @hostmariacom support was quick to help.

Day was in dumps till 4.00 pm but then things started taking shape
Day 3

1. FreelanceBytes website almost done
2. Compiled praises about recent editions. Thanks @arnabghosh_co @shreyawrites for the lovely words
3. Backed ready for migration

Will launch before the next edition goes out. Hopefully! 😁🤞

#Community is strength. Cherish it.

Few ways to strengthen bond within your community (when no one is a creator- no #blog, no product or #offer)

#community #strength #marketing #arsachdeva
1. Stay approachable

Don't say no when someone reaches out to you. Give before you take. And keep giving more
2. Share what you can't swallow

When you've got a lot on your plate and you get a new lead, don't say no. Share it with freelancers in your community. They'd appreciate it and trust you more.

@lazywriterabhi has been using this well. Thanks @lazywriterabhi for passing some.
