Conservative American Catholics upset that the Pope isn’t an America Firster is peak conservative American Catholic.
If you consider yourself a libertarian Catholic you are profoundly confused about libertarianism and/or Catholicism.
[But if you do consider yourself a libertarian Catholic there’s a good chance you’re a member of the Federalist Socity or the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops]

(Among my best compliments: worked for MI Senate Dems, Was contacted by some Arab-American leaders in Dearborn MI RE tape of racist anti-Arab comments by our senator’s staffer. He was quietly fired, I took over campaign, & we beat a rumored ex-stripper. A boss said I was Mr Wolf]
[Opponent had a history of racist comments about Arabs, they desperately wanted to beat her, but if we were associated w the rumors we’d be sunk. Through intricate net of people we kept the rumors bottled up until shortly before the election, when a guy went off on his own…
MSNBC showing all the ways it’s a done deal, while simultaneously the NBC decision desk guy is on NBC, making the argument for why they’re not calling it, that based on what MSNBC is reporting is completely nonsensical.
The difference btwn the exasperation on MSNBC & the “but MAYBE Trump could win” obtuseness on NBC is really something.
I wonder if the decision desk people at the other networks are afraid of taking the crap the Fox guy has taken.
Lot of the vote out, but I think it’s good. Turnout up everywhere, eyeballing it looks at least neutral for Dems, maybe even better. Forest counties in the North & semi-rural places Biden +2-4 vs Hillary, inner ring Macomb +4 to +6
Michigan looks good
MICHIGAN:
More counties +70% in. Rural areas Trump running from even to 1-2 points over 2016. But Biden +3-4 points (third party vote explains diff). Trump netting more vote in rural areas, but Biden’s net gains in suburbs are greater. MI looks very good
We’ll almost certainly win enough states for Joe Biden to next POTUS. Trump will probably get about the same % as last time (46%-47%) but Biden will prob get about 51%-52%. Electoral college is horrible, but if 5%-6% more votes isn’t enough to be POTUS we’re a failed state
