The effect on #COVID19 on illnesses in the general population such as coronary artery disease and cancers is not something which is measurable, but it must be severe.

Worldwide, lockdowns have caused a huge problem for those sort of people in suffering of illnesses which are the norm in the population.
So not only do they feel the economic effects, they have felt the effects on health too.

The cost of the catastrophe which this plague has brought onto the world is almost immeasurable. I cannot be sure but certain economies such as USA must be coming close to a tipping point.

Again with the vaccine not coming to the entire population till sometime late next year (and of course nobody can be quite sure of it’s exact efficiency in tackling the problem), certain countries are looking at a financial black hole. (Including certain industries in India)

For those of us who worked all through the pandemic, it’s somewhat difficult to predict the exact effect of what happened to all those people just sitting at home with nothing to do (and sometimes nobody to talk to)

Some parts of the world, mental health services are down too.

The effect on certain industries like restaurants, pubs, airlines must be catastrophic. Many people used up part of their savings too.
Not sure how those people will come out of this....
