#PakistanArmy has fenced 83% of the #Pakistan-#Afghanistan border. Fencing will be completed by mid-2021. Work on the fence began in 2017 with a $500 million price tag.

The 2,600 KM border will be double-fenced with 3 meter tall chain-link fences separated by barbed wire.

Furthermore, 30% of the 900 KM long #Pakistan-#Iran border has also been similarly fenced & work will complete by late 2021

Both borders will b surveilled by thermal-imaging cameras as well as armed reconnaissance drones & also features 100s of Fortresses of Security Forces

This fencing will be used to stop smuggling and above all Indian Sponsored insurgency. It is an advanced stage step of Pakistani counterinsurgency effort which has brought peace to #Pakistan. It will greatly help to reduce operational pressures on Pakistani Security Forces.

This fencing is not restricted to engineering alone, but requires hard-core fighting against intl narco smuggling mafia & insurgents like TTP.

#PakistanArmy sacrificed life & limbs to successfully continue with this fencing operation opposed by the likes of #PTMBehindTerrorism

Every 3rd day an Indian Army Soldier kills himself.... The toll of illegal occupation & running an apartheid in #Kashmir is taking its toll on the conscious of these soldiers making them kill themselves & their colleagues/officers.
