@AOC Dear Alexandria, please be inspired not offended that we see you as a leader of the squad. Maybe it's not fair, maybe it's media created but it is a fact that when you think the Squad, YOU are the first person that comes to mind. So please BE a leader for us.
Perhaps you have been already too long on the hill to really feel the pulse of the country but believe us, we are desperate and very impatient for bold action not clever behind the scenes politics. This is the moment requiring POLITICAL WILL. Please rise up to that moment.
Please start by setting up, with other members of the Squad, a formal caucus that is called "leftist" or "left" caucus and only allows those who are anti-war, pro #GND and pro #M4A. You can make the rest negotiable but not those 3 principal left policies.

Dear Berner friends, I can't participate in calling New Hampshire because I am too stressed and too focused on my own family's tragedy right now. But I will write this pro-Bernie thread for you to RT.
We need Bernie for many reasons but #MedicareForAll is my number one again.

Our story begins last July when my husband was diagnosed with cancer. My husband HAD a VA doctor and was already sick for a long time but his doctor just didn't diagnose what was going on with him as cancer. I encouraged him to go elsewhere but he was afraid of the cost.

I was lucky, thanks to my dad's job, to grow up mostly in countries with universal healthcare. I know for a fact that if we had universal healthcare my husband would have gone to seek a second opinion much sooner (before a violent infection brought him into an ER in July).

Our current healthcare system is very inefficient because the cost should be doctors +treatments +hospitals , but we also have to pay the enormous profits of the private insurance companies. It is projected that current system will cost 50 trillion over the next 10 years.

Sanders campaign& independent analysts eg. @MattBruenig have been shouting it from the rooftops that #MedicareForAll will save trillions for the American people. MSM pretend not to hear& keep asking "how will you pay for it".
How do you pay for something that costs less?

So my husband got a visit this morning, a registered Democrat. We talked politics. He said he liked Bernie, but (he is in his 60s, watches MSM): "Bernie can't win against Trump" "Why am I not voting for a woman." Suffice to say after 30 min we have another BERNIE primary voter!!!
Conclusion: engage EVERYBODY. People over 50 are relying too much on MSM. The MOMENT I pivoted to the issues, he agreed with everything I said. I told him Bernie polls great against Trump and has more dedicated supporters (donors and volunteers).
I recommended Joe Rogan and Killer Mike interviews with Bernie on You Tube, to check his registration as a Democrat to make sure he can vote in NY primary. Surprisingly for a guy his age he was worried most about Climate Change(has kids, grandkids and is SMART).

Forgive me, I am no expert on #MedicareForAll, but it hurts me to see Biden, Klobuchar, ABC, etc. DISINFORM the American people to this extent! Until I was 26 years old I lived in countries with UHC and it looks like this makes me kind of an expert. 1/?
First thing that many Americans don't know is that UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE, that is a system in which society treats healthcare as a right and therefore EVERYONE in the country is covered, exists in every other developed CAPITALIST country in the world. 2/?
Yet many Americans associate UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE with socialism. Why is that? US once was a PIONEER of worker's rights. FDR's New Deal was COPIED by other developed capitalist countries, mostly as a way as a reaction to Russian Revolution, to PREVENT the rise of communism. 3/?

So I finally watched that famous video of Trump saying USA will never be a socialist country. The only one not clapping is Bernie Sanders.
It's important to know that Trump is LYING about Venezuela in variety of ways, which I will explain below.
Trump basically states that Venezuela was the richest country in the world which was destroyed by socialist policies.
If we look at Venezuela from the POV of its oil reserves, Venezuela indeed was ( and still is) one of the richest countries in the world.
But that wealth from the ground has to be translated into the well being of citizens, or the metric is useless.
Venezeula has been founded as a Spanish colony in the 16th century. In 1811 it gained independence from Spain.

Warren is virtue signaling to the white liberal audience and getting "liked" for that, but she is pissing off a lot of people too.
First of all after 2016 people are far more conscious that ALL main stream media are fake news and singling out FOX like that is hypocritical.
Warren claims that FOX alone profits from "hate," yet ALL of our main stream media serve as propaganda outlets for our war industry first and foremost. Things got so bad that when Tulsi Gabbard went on Morning Joe she had to define what "enemy" means.
Main stream media was complicit in getting us into Iraq war, is Islamophobic, regularly lies about Israel-Palestine issue, protects "allies" (Saudis, France, Brazil) from criticism, exaggerates, even outright lies about "enemies" (Venezuela, Iran). How are they better than FOX?
