2/ The death above not unexpected considering following list over regional health services from 2009/2016.
1.Lead mental health supervisor of #Gippsland, ✍️summary for trainee LHS psychologist(4 GP)Serious level of errors & legal defamation in doc.(author didn’t meet patient./2
3/ Teen held in #LatrobeHospital ICU right near a patient, requiring police presence due to drugs. Teen requiring care after overdose of own ill prescribed antidepressants creating suicidal ideation /4
5/Female teen then left overnight in secondary area in presence of single adult male patient. Staff not always at desk.
Social worker calling a parent a liar over circumstances of overdose & ambulance intervention. Parent had to provide evidence. /6
/7 #LatrobeHospital then sent teen ‘home’, less than 24 hrs after admission, still 🤢 & unable to get support or medication for the medication still in system. Also made zero contact, with adult at the premises (the other suicidal one)(btw ChildProtection - refused- to assist).8/
8/ Child spent days ill, unable to get assistance. #LatrobeHealth then misinformed local police, (who were called at behest of other older teen at time of ambulance request due to adult yelling at child who was ill) HealthServices continued to put teen at risk. /9
Underfunding & misguidance & accountability of #regionalhealth services rife. #LatrobeHealthServices then put a stressed older school age child, on paper, as part of carer plan to prevent #suicide for both adult & teen(who had been hospitalised). Ratified by LRH psychiatrist. /10
10/.The lack of care within #Gippsland regional #mentalhealth is actually criminal, on all those levels combined. The result of those actions required unaffordable legal action, so the family were/are in long term trauma & lost everything but their lives. @JennyMikakos This /11
11/ is the system GP’s rely upon to support physical outcomes for patients. Some public funded #psychologists also misrepresent themselves to #GP’s.Stating provide family therapy but don’t. Or are bulk billing, but charge $20/$30 cash or card debit by patient on the day. #Auspol
#BryceFarrell will not be the last unless something is done over #RegionalHealth services @VictorianCHO .( I think I have incorrectly numbered this thread.)Then there are some GP refusing to provide information to insurance as GP errors exposed. This is regional health. #Auspol
