πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ The NYT sticks with the party line, doesn't want to investigate; anonymous officials admit the United States military has cyber-attacked and penetrated Russian unclass and highly classified networks previously, installed peristant malware, and maintain C2 with said malware. 😬
🧐

"β€œEarly warning” sensors placed by Cyber Command and the National Security Agency deep inside foreign networks to detect brewing attacks clearly failed. There is also no indication yet that any human intelligence alerted the United States to the hacking." -U.S. Gov't Official
- Intelligence operations are highly classified. If we are to believe the U.S. gov't was actually surprised by the SolarWinds hack, and didn't see it coming with their "sensors", those sensors would have been installed in multiple highly classified Russian intelligence networks.
- by using U.S. Cyber Command aka the United States military, to attack the Russian government networks, the United States military engaged in a cyber attack of the Russian Federation (..realistically has been done for years, I doubt this is new, they're just saying it out loud.)
"United States Cyber Command is one of the eleven unified combatant commands of the United States' Department of Defense. It unifies the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthens DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrates and bolsters DoD's cyber expertise."
-Wikipedia
Can you imagine if the U.S. just blurted out they have U.S. military sabotage teams in Russia ready to compromise critical infrastructure? People would lose their minds. The language of cyber has so much meaningless doublespeak, the public can't understand what's admitted to.
How will Russian officials react to U.S. officials bragging to the New York Times that U.S. Cyber Command (the Pentagon) successfully attacked and compromised Russian gov't networks, installed persistent malware, which they still control; still failed to detect SolarWinds hack.
Another cute tidbit; if you say your smoke alarm didn't detect the fire, and the fire started in January; you installed your smoke alarm before that.

Extremely short sighted disclosure by American officials which has the potential to comprimise NSA & Cyber Command ops in Russia.

If the POTUS is on a plane it *is* Air Force One.

There is nothing secret about the Boeing 747s that are commonly referred to as "Air Force One" (planeS, there are two!), we track them all the time, and the links are available on Twitter for you to follow along too. πŸ‘‡

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ I've heard riffs on "when the planes are not in for repairs, which is often." in #cndpoli news before, but I've never seen any data to substantiate, or gov't reports which identify, higher than normal maintenance for the #RCAF CC-150 Polaris fleet.

Is there evidence?

Well,
Data exists that can be used to substantiate, or refute, the claim, using open source flight history. For my part, I can tell you the planes are in the air very regularly, and there is no sign of them being sidelined for unscheduled extended periods. (except the "mishap"; 15001)
What's that? You want to see it for yourself? Well, okay.

Check the below embeded link daily for a few years and get back to me.
