@farmerdarrell I have a great deal of admiration of you and many Twitter friends. So let me say this respectfully, I am a Conservative Woman & I can’t easily say it out loud because half the people in USA have such vitriolic hate towards me, or what I believe. Half are with me.🤔

2. I was once a Democrat because my parents told me they hated Republicans (party of Abraham Lincoln). I secretly liked Nixon, Reagan, didn’t know why. Then I found out what Democrats do to people who have something. We had a Farm, in Fred’s family 4 generations.

One day I found out the Town, using our former liberal lawyer who was clearly conflicted, put up our farm for auction for being 9 months late paying $8000 in taxes. No one ever notified Me, Girl CoOwner with my Husband. He was paralyzed by this evil deed. He couldn’t tell me.

I had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 49. I worked full time for the State doing Long Term Care Coordination for Medicaid eligible clients. I could barely keep up. Fred paid the day of the sale. He took money out of our retirement savings. I didn’t know.

I found out a month later. I was furious at Fred at first. “Why didn’t you tell me?”. That Quickly changed to Why didn’t the Town of Monkton tell me? It is my Constitutional Right to be notified the Town was Selling my Farm. I was Nothing But second name on the deed. Nobody,Zero.

I thought the Democrats leading the Town might have had a little Compassion at least. They Knew me. My old Lawyer Knew me. They Knew If the farm was auctioned for taxes, the bank would foreclose on our mortgage. Ironclad plan.

What followed. I asked if coworkers in the Middlebury Medicaid Office saw the auction notice in the @addyindy . They all saw it. I didn’t read the paper in those days. I could barely keep up with work. No one told me because they thought I knew and was embarrassed or insane.

The Post office knew. One Woman who worked there said Fred should have told me. I blew another gasket. It was my Constitutional right to be notified Separately from my Husband. We were both on the Deed. We spent 5 years and $$$ in a family court battle to get our separate piece.

I set out to learn everything I could about the #Constitution and the Protection it blankets us with. I started listening to @marklevinshow 🎁 I tried to appeal to the town. They blew me off. I Reluctantly consulted an attorney who said it would cost more than $10 k to fight.

The Lawyer also gave me the best advice, You can’t fight city hall, they’ll just get up on the stand and lie. I knew the misery of endless court battle. I knew the scumbags behind this attempt to Cancel Mary Gerdt, Flatlander, 25 year Resident but Not Welcome Any More.

I found out the Liberal led Conservation Committee wanted our Swamp to be part of a nature preserve. I found the CCC minutes where they talked about Tax sales. Those minutes got scrubbed after My Rant and Protest on Paper. I wrote letters to everybody.

I was on my own. Furious Woman Chattel, a Couch, a Thing. Darrell, I felt Black and Blue. Do you remember the history of emancipated slaves getting land grants only to be taxed off their property? Or so many heirs it got eaten up by lawyers? That’s how I felt. Hate was Colorless.

Eventually I gave up, surrendered, withdrew, worked my job. Feeling I had more in common now with the common man. Looking over my shoulder. No longer going to Town meeting, they wanted me excised. Who knew and didn’t tell me?? I never knew. I assumed most knew, it was sickening.

What I tell my step children,if they’d listen, I am Pro Constitution, I am Pro Human, All Humans, even the ones who hate me. I figure Karma will work it out. My Hate only ate me up inside. I saw what Democrats are capable of, great compassion and greed veiled in righteousness.

I’d tell them That Both Parties are Necessary for successful prosperous government to function. Yin and Yang. 2 Wings of the Same Bird 🦅. That when One Party gets all the Power, the Bird will falter and can’t fly. That we Americans are Free to choose our own beliefs, to Vote.

I am concerned I couldn’t impress upon anyone that Women on a Deed deserved to be notified when the Government wants to take it from Her. That Town officials using Shenanigans to work around the Constitution may happen to them. That Democrats And Republicans can be Bad People.

You may still not understand why I am a Conservative Republican. You may not believe that Democrats can succumb to the temptations that power Over people can offer. You may ignore that Democratic Lawmakers Can go into congress and come out as multimillionaires, like Republicans.

When your Man moves into the White House and you see your situation unchanged, your faith in your party will be unwavering. Mine will also. I won’t hate him or want to cancel his supporters. I’ll wait until the Pendulum swings again. It always does in
A More Perfect Union.

That’s what I would tell my kids. That the Left protesters in Washington DC were Revered and Right protesters Maligned, Hated, Labeled as Racists. Even Black Conservatives Called Racists or using the “Uncle Tom” reference.

I didn’t want to respond and had to respond. My blog post going up at 5:30 est today written last night. My hope is USA can come together and stop the you/me us/them stuff. Playing Verbal Dodge ball. Teaching kids one party is Pure as the driven snow ❄️ and the other Devils.
