1. Consistency

Once a commitment is made, the tendency is to be consistent with that first commitment.

The size of the commitment can be as small as getting people to raise their hands and say "yes"

This is why great sales letters often say "I know what you're thinking..." or something similar.

7 fiction books every man must read

//THREAD//
1. Blood Meridian

War and violence are a natural part of men which is why we are so drawn to it.

This book will teach you about the dark reality of human nature.

It is extremely violent, it is raw, it is bloody but in a weird way it is beautiful.
2. Gates of Fire
A fictional account of the battle of Thermopylae, where 300 Spartan warriors were tasked with defending against a Persian army of millions.

This book will teach you about loyalty and honour; two important traits that are rarely found in modern men.

🎉 I reached 19,000 followers last week.

As a way of saying thanks, here are 19 UNUSUAL TIPS TO HELP YOU BECOME A BETTER WRITER.

🚨Warning: There no shortcuts here but if you're willing to put in the work, these tips will improve your writing.

[THREAD]
1) Be a student of human nature

You are writing to a human audience.

Therefore if you want your reading to resonate, you need to understand who you're writing for.

Every good writer I know is a keen observer of human nature for this reason.
2) Drink more water

If you're dehydrated, your brain won't flow.

Most of the "brain fog" and "writer's block" you feel is very likely because you are dehydrated.

Always keep a big bottle of water with you.

99.99% motivational books belong in the trash can.

There's only one you need to read and that's

The Education of a Body Builder by Arnold Schwarzenegger

Here are the most impactful quotes from it.

[THREAD]

Partly this was the result of my own changing attitude about myself.
I know that if you can change your diet and exercise program to give yourself a different body, you can apply the same principles to anything else (1/2)
