3/n) In the past many a Indian team would have folded up cheaply losing the test but this team showed its mental fortitude in such trying circumstances.

5/n) 131 overs was also the longest India has batted in the 4th innings since 1980 & longest by Asian teams in 4th innings in draws in Australia.

Herculean effort by Hanuma Vihari to play 161 balls (most of them on a torn hamstring) and Ashwin (128 balls).

6/n) Pant's counter-attack means that Australia will think twice before declaring early (if the cases arises in Brisbane).

7/n) Maybe we can play Saha as keeper and Pant as batsman (to replace Vihari) + Kuldeep to replace Jadeja as Aussies didn't pick up Kuldeep very well the last time both the teams played.

8/n) Best part of last session was when Paine was sledging Ashwin to disturb his concentration asking Ashwin how many teams passed on him for IPL (in auction) and then Paine proceeded to drop a catch in the very next over!!!
