Checking visitor stats on websites for several small biz's for a while now. And consistently over last 5 yrs social media connects have remained static, tiny % of visits. Advertising makes no difference. This only works for massive corporate advertising. They use use us.
So, the more they limit our organic reach, just in case we may be selling something on their platform and not paying them, the more real people will fall away; ultimately for the big advertisers too. Desperate need for a platform without such biased to corporates business model
and with them making money from arguments between strangers rather than connecting organically with mutual interests. LIke FB used to be in the old days. IN these times where so many are purged from it for speaking against narratives, there's a colossal gap in the market for
real people which brings out best in human connections eg co-operations between small businesses their customers & communities, hobby interests etc. See I can't find many fiend suggestions from horse racing people but bombarded with loon NGO friend requests- big advertisers .
