@APTNNews Well coming from someone who is blocked from posting on their websites, I would like to say I am going to refrain from commenting, but not a chance in hell .. APTN only tells one side of a story, they control the message and the media and want people to buy this crap?
They have a few cases of what they call Fraudulent Identity and now they need a law to fine or lock people up? Using laws from the United States? When the US does not even recognize Metis people? Can you see it?
Do you see what they actually pushing for? "tribe from which they are descended." -- Ya wanna know why? Cause then those tribes control you. They then have the authority to say, Nope you do not exist and we are not going to recognize you! That is what this is all about.
I mean look what Pam Palmater's father Frank thought of that idea. He knows how it works !!
Frank's self-identification in the RCAP reports, Pam now has her federal recognition from the government and her status and says no such thing as Metis in the Maritimes, 🥰 So much bullshit ..

utm.utoronto.ca/political-scie… -- Is Chance Finegan Indigenous? -- If not, why is he weighing in on Indigenous Identity Politics? Why is his career based on Indigenous issues? Taking a page out of Darryl's book? No pun intended !!
Good, about time someone stands up to them. They work in half-truths and gangs and publicly shame people into silence. @CBCIndigenous - Use US Indigenous politics from Kim Tallbear to police Indigenous identities in Canada, when the US doesn't even recognize Metis peoples.
@ChanceFinegan are you aware that Metis are in the Mi'kmaw's constitution and bylaws since 1973?
"MMF supported New Brunswick Association of Metis and Non-Status Indians to 1000 acres of land" "brandon-sun-jan-12-1977-p-1- Support Claim-NCC and MMF they support the claim of the New Brunswick Association of Metis and Non Status Indians to 1000 acres of land"
"portsmouth-herald-jan-12-1977-p-28- Group backs Indian claim - NCC and MMF have told the NB Gov they back the claim of the NB association of Metis and Non-staus Indians." -- Hmm @ChanceFinegan doesn't seem like they were too concerned in 1977? This must be a recent concern?
