ALERT: I’ve learned in the past few days that some members of Congress and staff are not only worried about the threats around them, BUT, a number of them are exasperated when they see and hear reports of threats on TV and Radio, online and in the papers BEFORE they are notified 
It’s my understanding that security briefings are taking place, but not to all members. The part that’s frustrating to the people I’ve spoken to is that the salient information makes it into the press, almost in real time, which suggest that some press are “almost in the room.”
Leaks? Maybe. But that’s not the issue. When I read or hear about about a threat and speak to a member or key staff, and they don’t know about it, THAT’S the problem. The other piece that perhaps some folks are not seeing is that according to law enforcement sources,
