Twitter is a place where people respect the journey more than reaching the destination.

Talk about how you’re working and growing and they love it. You’ll get support nonstop.

Talk about reaching the goal and being successful and people will find a reason to hate you.
and this something we’ve seen happen A LOT.

It doesn’t matter what industry it is.
How much money was made.
The amount of growth.

Only thing that matter is you’re willing and the others are still trying.
Some people will respect you even more for being successful.

Others hate on your success because they aren’t where they want to be.

90% of Twitter is the latter.
A smalll 10% is the former.

If you host a podcast and want to get sponsored, pay attention.

There are five key steps to getting paid to produce your content.

I’m going to breakdown all five AND give you a word for word script.
1. Know your audience.

You need to clear about who listens to your show. Get all the demographics listed because every company will want the same information.

Just use the statistics on your hosts’ platform. If they don’t have them, you need to move to another host.
2. Use the script.

Connecting with brands is the next step. You want to start a conversation and let them know that you can provide some level of value.

You need to convey that instantly!

If you don’t, you’ll be ignored and never heard from again.

There are 3 steps you must take to create a business that can run without you.

1. Develop a product/service that’s scalable
2. A positive cash flow cycle to generate business monthly
3. Hire specialists to complete tasks

This is how you set the ground work to work less.
The product you create needs to serve a specific market. The result should also be delivered through systems.

Relying on systems and not your presence gives you the advantage of being able to hire someone else to do things for you.

Systems can be completed by almost anyone.
Pro tip: Be specific with these systems. Don’t try to be a generalists or it will be complicated to market and grow your business.

Solve a specific problem for a specific group of people.

A few people have contacted me about building clothing brands. I'll give y'all my two cents.

The reason most clothing brands fail is because they don't have a community attached. What people see when you post you clothing are jus words on a shirt.

You need to make it bigger....
You make it bigger by creating the community around what the clothing is about.

Don’t try to sell shirts or hats that you think look cool. That’s not a good enough reason for people to stick around.
Why did you make this clothing brand? What’s the point?

Just making what you think is cool really serves no purpose.

Find people who have the same beliefs as you.

People are constantly asking me how to start making money online.

The best ways are to know something that other people want to know

Or

Help people make money.

I’ll explain.
People say analysis paralysis is bad. It can be useful. The keys are to consume valuable information AND keep track of it. It can be used for later.

You want to know something that everyone wants to know. That way you’re considered to be an expert.
Start your consumption month.

Get a knowledge journal. Write down all the things you learn about this ONE subject.

You should be listening to podcasts, books, reading blogs and watching YouTube videos on ONE subject.

This is part of building that expert status.

One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when people say “don’t work hard, work smart.”

First of all, shut the fuck up. That literally makes no sense. Any successful person will tell you they had to work hard to get where they are.
Working hard is a requirement; a prerequisite. If you do not want to work hard, your success will only be temporary.

You can make good money but it won’t last. You can get attention but it won’t be genuine.

Working hard is not optional.
Working hard is relative. Everyone has their own definition. The only real definition that matter is your own.

But to say you don’t have to do it at all is fucking arrogant and stupid.
