There are five key steps to getting paid to produce your content.
I’m going to breakdown all five AND give you a word for word script.
You need to clear about who listens to your show. Get all the demographics listed because every company will want the same information.
Just use the statistics on your hosts’ platform. If they don’t have them, you need to move to another host.
Connecting with brands is the next step. You want to start a conversation and let them know that you can provide some level of value.
You need to convey that instantly!
If you don’t, you’ll be ignored and never heard from again.
This is where you introduce yourself and show some level.
Get specific if you can.
Let them know that you have the EXACT audience they’re selling to.
They love this.
Just follow the steps and you’ll be successful.
You need full clarity on what these companies want.
Is it a preroll ad?
Do they have a script?
How many episodes are you promoting?
All of this MUST be clear in the contract. No contract, no deal.
Bad deal: 2 episodes for $100
Good deal: 4 episodes for $150
Great deal: 12 episodes for $600
These are some basic starter deals. If you’re not past 50 episodes, this is what you’re looking for.
You have to be consistent after that contract is signed. Brands want to get their return on investment. Failure to fulfill the contract can ruin a relationship forever.
You’ll want to do well for the future.
The connections you make with a company that sponsors you are more important than the dollars themselves.
After they pay you once, they’ll be willing to pay you again and again and again!
But it won’t be on Twitter.
