Learning how to manage money is as important as learning how to make it.

Many people make a lot of money but at the end of every month they don't know where it is.

These 5 simple tips can help you manage your finances:
1. Create multiple bank accounts for different purposes.

Have an account for

- Monthly savings
- Necessary expenses
- investing
- Emergency funds.
- Fun and flex.

Use a fixed percentage formula to decide what goes into which account.
2. Money that hasn't entered your account is not yours yet!

How many times have we recklessly spent the money we have because 'we are expecting a client to pay?'

And then the client doesn't pay.

If the money hasn't entered your account, don't spend in advance.
3. You are not Saviour of the world.

Notice how in superhero movies the destiny of the world always depends on one guy?

'The world needs you right now. You are the only hope.'

I'm sorry, real life finance isn't Hollywood.

You mustn't help everyone.
Learn to say NO to some financial requests without feeling guilty.

I am talking to you in particular if:

- you are the first child of your family

- you are the only one with a thriving business

- You are a Mr Nice guy who hates to see people in pain or lack.
If you have not saved yourself, you can't save others.

Learn to say no.

They may call you evil, but trust me, they won't die.

They'll find a solution.
4. Analyse your monthly income and expense.

Do this today. Take a pen. Analyse how much you made in January and how much you spent.

Find out where the bulk of the money you made went to.

You'll realise some spendings were unnecessary.

Monitor those areas this month.
5. Be honest to yourself.

With money I have learnt that self-honesty is very important.

If you are not making enough, accept it and seek a way to increase your income.

If you have bad spending habits like impulse 'buys,' accept it and decide to fix it.
Nothing helps your money life than honesty.

Don't be ashamed about where you are.

Make a decision and make corrections where you need to.

I should add one more very important tip:
6. Stop trying to keep up with the Joneses.

Stop comparing with others or trying to compete with them.

If you can't afford something now, that is fine.

Don't, in a bid to impress people, spend money that you'll end up crying about.

I hope this helps you this month.

Sell your knowledge.

It doesn't have to be something complex.

Find simple everyday problems people are having and sell information on how to solve them.

You can bank an extra 500k this month doing this.

Just understand these 5 truths:
1. Stop looking at 'people's face'

Yes. Stop.

I know you already have ideas of what you want to sell.

But you are thinking:

'What will they say about me?'

Selling can be fun when you focus on who you want to serve instead of who will have an opinion.
2. Find a simple specific problem you know 'a lot of people are having.'

I get it. We talk about high ticket sales a lot.

But really, not many people are making that 'premium money.'

To make premium money, you have to establish yourself with proven results.

I sincerely believe that when we make these resolutions, we are serious about them.

We rally want the change.

But why do we revert to type I'm a short while?

And what is the better to own your life in 2021?
Think about this:

And no matter what you do, the software won't just install...

Until you upgrade the operating system?

You know why new year resolutions don't work?

You re the same old person trying to achieve a different result with the same old habits.

Stop with the new year resolutions.

Don't do it.

Simply focus on changing your everyday habits and sustain it.
You'll see anew person in a few weeks.

And consequently, you'll see new results too.

The way to change your results is to change what you do.

The way to change what you do is to change what you think and what you believe.
Focus on this foundation and you'll see results that'll blow your mind.

But I must warn you:

As soon as you make up your mind to be a different person, watch your old self revolt.

Watch your friends (and yes, family) criticise the 'new you.'

To build a successful business, you must be a long term thinker.

I'll explain.

My Uncle married a white lady from Ireland.

Beautiful woman and nice to a fault.

In 2018 she came to Nigeria and spent some time in the village.

She had heard a lot about me so she asked me to
come see her.

Spending time with her was beautiful.

She always wanted to learn about our culture, practically always wanting to go to the farm with her white delicate skin.

I discovered two things within the few days I spent with her.
One was her love for books.

This lady would read 50 pages of a book a day.

In two days, she had read and finished 'There was a country' and moved on to 'Things fall apart.'

I saw active learning and hunger for knowledge.

But the second thing I discovered taught me a lesson.

If you really want to make money monetising your knowledge, there are 5 key areas you absolutely need to deal with.

Let's look at them. (Short Thread)
1. Overcoming limiting beliefs and thought processes preventing you from truly succeeding.

You know a lot of things.

You've read many books.

You've taken several courses, attended trainings and webinars.

You've paid a lot of money learning and improving yourself.
But somehow, you are still struggling with the idea of asking people money for your knowledge.

You are afraid no one will see you as an expert.

You are afraid people may see you as a fraud.

You feel you are not qualified to sell your knowledge yet.
