31 YEARS OF GRACE

Today the 8th of February 2021, marks my 31 years of living in the United Kingdom. It was supposed to be a journey of 3 days. I thank God for his incredible grace upon my life. The Lord who blessed the journey of Jacob has blessed my journey but I...
want everyone living abroad to take note of these points:

1. Don’t think you have time. 31 years disappeared like 31 days. Number your days as I am doing today.
2. Stop jumping from one church to another. I have only attended two churches in 31 years.
The one I joined on arrival for 15 years and the one I founded for the last 16 years. Church stability is key for the fulfillment of destiny.
3. Stop jumping from one relationship to another. Relationships do waste lives. Be careful with relationships.

LIVING ABROAD AND ITS DANGERS.

I travel to Nigeria and another African country often. My latest adventure was quite revealing. Having returned to the UK, let me share some things with you.

A person could spend years exploring the world and coming back with nothing...
A person could wander through life and achieve nothing. A person could live abroad for many years and not be better than those living in the village. Also, time flies. My journey to Nigeria this time was planned just for Lagos state but there was a divine diversion....
I ended up visiting 8 states by land and air. At this stage of my life, it was an unforgettable experience. It will remain with me forever.

If you live abroad, do not let the news from your home country especially Nigeria discourage you from exploring the myriad of....

MARRIAGE IS BIGGER AND BETTER THAN IMMIGRATION STATUS

I came into the UK in 1990 and I met my wife, a British Citizen here in the UK. We got married and I also became a British Citizen through her. The beginning of our marriage was very tough as we had no money. We were....
just 4 at our wedding. We could not afford a lavish wedding. Those days!

My wife was the one taking care of us financially for many years after we got married and she actually put down 95% of the deposit for the first flat we bought. She did not make noise or tell people......
the roles she played but I made noise obout it later. Today, I make enough money to be able to make our family live comfortably. If she had terrorized me with her British status then, I would have punished her now. Just kidding but who knows.

In the last two weeks,.....

RAISE YOUR BOYS AS REAL MEN

Today, I want to share with you three lessons my mother taught me which has helped me greatly:

Whilst growing up, my mother taught me to be a provider for my family. She said I must not be looking up to my wife for money before I can support my...
family. She said that way, I will lose respect and self-confidence. By God's grace I have a wife who have supported me greatly in every way but I have not made it a habit. My mother saw that I was cooking one day and said ”that was good but your efforts must be more.....
towards equipping yourself to be able to provide for your family as many women are suffering unnecessarily. You must go out, pull off all the stops, work hard with pain, work hard with tears and joy to bring home abundance but my son you can't do that by always........

RELATING WELL ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
(A thread)

1. Social Media is a place of education and believe me if you know the status of some of the people you are friends with, you will thank your stars & then behave yourself wisely. It is also a place of blessing. #socialmediatips
2. Some will not use their titles and so check who you are dealing with. Also, realize that once you send a post you do not have control over where it gets to. It could finish your political or professional career. It could hinder your future. #socialmediatips ....
3. Some of the people you relate with on Social Media you will never have the opportunity to meet in real life as your paths will never cross. It just won’t happen but if you behave yourself wisely you will be surprised that the connection will happen..#socialmediatips

My COVID-19 Experience (A thread)

Hmmmm! Where do I start? They say experience is the best teacher. Since Coronavirus started, I have been at the forefront of the campaign against people catching it. Believe me, I did not know what I was talking about. Why? #COVID19..,,,,
I had no experience but now I can tell you that COVID-19 is real. It happened to me and I was almost gone!
If you don’t experience it or see someone who went through it you can’t understand and I mean it. It was a nightmare. #COVID19
When it happened, it was like a joke. Tiredness, cold, serious shivering, body pain, loss of vision, lack of appetite, cough and the likes. It was a nightmare. I became like a skeleton in 5 days and I am not joking. I could not recognize myself in the mirror. #COVID19
