SAHARA REPORTERS ARE NOTHING BUT SATANIC REPORTERS!!!

THEY ASSIST EFCC OR WHOEVER PAYS THEM TO FALSIFY INFORMATION AND DISTORT THE TRUTH.

Please read their self contradictory reports of events that took place in court yesterday.
I was seated in the court throughout the entire proceedings. They mixed half truths with half lies and published a cocktail of JUNK NEWS!!!

In the first instance, non of the ridiculous 59 count charges contained "Criminal Diversion of funds" as fabricated by @SaharaReporters.
Secondly; the money laundering charge was based on pure mischief and malice by the EFCC who claimed I recieved N10m cash monthly from ONSA, instead of 5m allowed by law for individual transactions.
They maliciously and falsely claimed that I collected the N10m as a person to spend for myself. When all payments made to me in this respect was on behalf of the office of the Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs...
...which by law is an agency of government and therefore a legal entity by itself and therefore a corporate entity which the law permits to enter into cash transactions not exceeding N10m. All vouchers of payment to me reflected this fact unequivocally.
Thirdly, nowhere in the charge list was it stated that the sum of money in question was N702m. I ran the office of no less than 30 staffs.
Half of them were graduates, 6 or 7 had MSc. 8 policemen, another 6 security men who guarded the office and my residence.
I paid salaries, bought stationaries, diesel for home and office, paid for Press conferences once or twice weekly, paid consultants, published a weekly newspaper, ran a weekly current affairs program on NTA.

ALL OUT OF A PAYMENT OF N10M MONTHLY, WHICH WAS LATER REDUCED TO N5M.
Please read the @SaharaReporters VERSION BELOW. 👇👇👇

"Court Adjourns Okupe’s N702Million Money Laundering Trial As Defence Witness Fails To Disclose Details..."
"EFCC had arraigned Okupe, alongside his two companies: Value Trust Investments and Abrahams Telecoms on 59 counts bordering on money laundering and criminal diversion of funds to the tune of N702,000,000."
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the money laundering trial of Doyin Okupe, a former senior special assistant on public affairs to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan till March 5, 2021 for continuation of trial.
"The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Okupe, alongside his two companies: Value Trust Investments and Abrahams Telecoms on 59 counts bordering on money laundering and criminal diversion of funds to the tune of N702,000,000."
At the resumed trial on Monday, the defence presented its fourth witness, Bamidele Salami, a member of the House of Representatives, who served as head of media in the office of the then senior special assistant on public affairs to President Jonathan.
Led by Joe Kyari Gadzama, SAN, the witness told the court that “there were approximately 30 staff (members) in different units of the office and the office was funded by the Presidency through the office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) under Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd)”.
He disclosed that funding in the sum of N10 million was provided on a monthly basis in cash to Doyin Okupe through an officer in ONSA.
Bamidele further revealed that N3 million was paid for a programme, 'Insight' on NTA, to correct the negative perception of the former President.

He said it was untrue that the programme was aired “free of charge” as corporate social responsibility by the NTA.
During cross-examination by the prosecution counsel, Ibrahim Audu, the witness was asked whether a weekly publication in the office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), The Federalist, is a private company.
"The witness, in response, informed the court that The Federalist is not a registered private company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) but a publication of ONSA."
He, however, claimed ignorance of any contractual agreement between The Federalist newspaper and the Office of National Security Adviser.
According to a release by the EFCC, Bamidele also told the court that he did not have the exact figure of the money that was paid for media engagements, honorarium and other public relations engagements, “but it cost a lot”.
"The defence witness’ evidence on the sponsorship of Insight on NTA contradicted the testimony of the first prosecution witness (PW1), Osas Azonabor, an operative of the EFCC, who had told the court "that no receipt was issued for the payment to NTA."
"However, a letter was written to NTA and investigations further revealed that the programme was aired free of charge as directed by the then Director General of NTA, who said the programme was to be seen as the Corporate Social Responsibility of the NTA."
Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu thereafter adjourned the trial.

The PRESIDENT and the OTHER "presidents" in the Presidency.

This thread is not about President Buhari's honouring the invitation of the @HouseNGR. Rather it is a mild exposè of what happens in the Presidency.

Read, Retweet & Share.
The President of Nigeria and many other Presidents in the World are subjects of very severe and intense manipulation; even those that appear very strong willed.
Strongest among the manipulators are the First Ladies 😌, top aides, favoured ministers, senior government officials, old friends/school mates, traditional and religious leaders and even concubines!!! 😉😁

PROTESTERS:OUR NEW NATIONAL HEROES.

This generations of Nigerian youths have by the Grace of God achieved what has been impossible for the last several decades.
The success of the youths is perhaps the most potent testimony of the abysmal leadership failure of the political and elite class in Nigeria.
It is unique that the protesters do not have identifiable leadership and this is perhaps why they have been successful so far since the security forces are unable to truncate the nationwide protests by arresting and demobilising its leadership.

PETROL PRICING: THE MYTH, THE PUBLIC PASSION & THE FACTS.

#THREAD

#EnoughIsEnough #MrPresident #Buhari #Nigerians #IFB
Petroleum pricing is a sensitive issue in Nigeria because the various past governments got it all wrong abinitio, and this has been because of the wrongly perceived and sustained notion that 'we are a rich nation'.
In truth, no government has any business selling or retailing petrol, diesel and kerosene to its citizens.

GETTING OVER THE DEBACLE OF VIOLENCE IN THE ELECTORAL PROCESS.

It is sad and quite embarrassing that in spite of 60years of self rule, we still have to contend with the barbaric orgy of violence in virtually all elections.

#Thread
This beastly behaviour is a distinguishing charasteristic of our political elites dating as far back as the pre-independence era.
In the sixties, the popular but nefarious events of "weti e" in the southwest, readily comes to mind.
Even in those days the siamese twins of election rigging and violence were the classic and very distinct features of our elections practically nationwide.
