Just Filmed — Whitley & Hollywood Blvd, 9:51 PM: Cops stop kids sitting outside their hotel. They were *not* in the car, but standing on sidewalk. Officers then:

▪️Handcuff the kids
▪️Search the kids
▪️Search the kids’ car

Reason for stop: registration.
(1/...)
The cops then whisper in the kids’ ears *not to talk to me* (see: 6 second mark).

That’s pretty outrageous. He’s a dirty cop. (2/...)
“He was telling us don’t talk him because he follows us around.”

QUESTION: If a cop is confident their stop, why would they make such a request?

ANSWER: Because he’s a dirty fucking cop. 💁🏾‍♂️
Remember the rationale for the stop was *expired registration*. But it was a rental car, and the stickers show an expiration of Dec 2021.

Regardless, none of these post-stop activities are justified. Image
Two officers probably heard him telling the kids not to talk to me. Were either of those officers going to report this cop for misconduct?

The bodycam footage should screw them.

Eventually Cali will have an online database of police officer complaint history. Cop unions will try to limit info provided (total number of sustained complaints — not details).

Thats why I write them up for the smallest stuff: may hold the same weight as serious infractions.
If they try to only release “total number of sustained complaints” then a sustained mask complaint will look as bad as “out-of-policy use-of-force” complaint. So I focus on documenting clear violations LAPD policy.
Use their attempt to hide info against them.
“Whoa, I just looked that cop up. Officer Johnson has *12 sustained complaints* against him. What a fucking monster!”

Little will the know those 12 complaints were for being filmed without masks. I don’t give a fuck, either.

Meh, originally I was gonna write him up for maskless, but when I looked at the tape I only captured a few seconds. So it’s conceivable he was adjusting.
But since I was going to write him up, I needed his name.

So I asked.
I waited patiently. Cops then got in car. I asked for ID again. Cops say they don’t know I’m talking about. Then begin driving away.

Today a LAPD Hollywood sergeant emailed me to have an interview regarding a complaint. But I have an *active complaint* against this sergeant.

This is so ridiculous.
LAPD sends supervisor to interview complainant, when the complainant has an active complaint against that supervisor. LAPD is either grossly incompetent, or they’ve got a big set of balls.

It’s ok. I’ve taped Sanchez maskless 6X. I’ll this do interview & file on him to his face. Image
Using an officer to handle an LAPD complaint case (when the subject has a complaint against that officer) can be seen as intimidation. It may not have been meant that way, but people will perceive it that way.

I can’t stress enough how broken the LAPD complaint process is.

On stop RIGHT NOW (De Longpre and Highland, 8:41pm).

It’s Esquival (again).

Literally pulled-over right in front of me. And that’s why he hasn’t pulled the driver out. Let’s see what happens. 1/...
2/ His partner doesn’t wear a nameplate (another complaint).
3/ Driver removed from car and patted-down. Backup called.

They’re asking a million questions. DWI test coming. Delan is here, which is good, because he’s a reasonable cop.

On a stop RIGHT NOW. De Longpre and Highland. Black kids pulled-over, removed from car, handcuffed, searched. 1/...
2/ These guys are thirsty. Now searching *under the hood*.
3/ I’ve filed complaints on these *specific* cops in the past month for:

✅ Biased policing
✅ illegal search
✅ Handcuff violations.

Let’s see what happens here. 4 cop cars and a supervisor. I bet it’s just going to be a basic traffic ticket (if any ticket at all).

Big time shoutout to the Armenian protesters in Hollywood.

I think 1,500+ people went down Sunset Blvd, abandoned their cars in the middle of the street, and went to the CNN building to protest.

They. Shut. It. Down.

#Armenia #ArmenianGenocide
2/ I mean, the Armenian protesters really shut it down (Cahuenga & Selma):

#Armenia #ArmenianGenocide
3/ Hi CNN, there’s a few thousand Armenian protesters outside that have something to say. You may want to pay attention:
