Eventually Cali will have an online database of police officer complaint history. Cop unions will try to limit info provided (total number of sustained complaints — not details).
Thats why I write them up for the smallest stuff: may hold the same weight as serious infractions.
If they try to only release “total number of sustained complaints” then a sustained mask complaint will look as bad as “out-of-policy use-of-force” complaint. So I focus on documenting clear violations LAPD policy.
Use their attempt to hide info against them.
“Whoa, I just looked that cop up. Officer Johnson has *12 sustained complaints* against him. What a fucking monster!”
Little will the know those 12 complaints were for being filmed without masks. I don’t give a fuck, either.
Hollywood cops are targeting Black kids for the smallest stuff. They need not whine to me when I return the favor and write them up for the smallest stuff. Too fucking bad. It’s pretextual oversight.

Just Filmed — Whitley & Hollywood Blvd, 9:51 PM: Cops stop kids sitting outside their hotel. They were *not* in the car, but standing on sidewalk. Officers then:
▪️Handcuff the kids
▪️Search the kids
▪️Search the kids’ car
Reason for stop: registration.
(1/...)
The cops then whisper in the kids’ ears *not to talk to me* (see: 6 second mark).
That’s pretty outrageous. He’s a dirty cop. (2/...)
“He was telling us don’t talk him because he follows us around.”
QUESTION: If a cop is confident their stop, why would they make such a request?
Meh, originally I was gonna write him up for maskless, but when I looked at the tape I only captured a few seconds. So it’s conceivable he was adjusting.
But since I was going to write him up, I needed his name.
So I asked.
I waited patiently. Cops then got in car. I asked for ID again. Cops say they don’t know I’m talking about. Then begin driving away.
LAPD sends supervisor to interview complainant, when the complainant has an active complaint against that supervisor. LAPD is either grossly incompetent, or they’ve got a big set of balls.
It’s ok. I’ve taped Sanchez maskless 6X. I’ll this do interview & file on him to his face.
Using an officer to handle an LAPD complaint case (when the subject has a complaint against that officer) can be seen as intimidation. It may not have been meant that way, but people will perceive it that way.
I can’t stress enough how broken the LAPD complaint process is.
