On 19 February, the Delhi HC granted bail to three men accused of killing Shahid Alvi during the #DelhiViolence. The court observed that the post-mortem report indicated a long-range shot, and then relied on an NDTV video that showed firing from the nearby Mohan Nursing Home.

Replug | Three photojournalists were on the Saptarishi building with Alvi when he was killed. None of them was contacted by the Delhi Police ahead of the chargesheet. All three, whose footage ran on NDTV, said that none of the Muslims present there had any guns.
Replug | “The firing was then occurring only from Mohan Nursing Home, and nowhere else, we are the witnesses to that,” Mohammad Meherban, one of the photojournalists whose footage ran on NDTV, said.
