In a family of 7, she always felt left out.

Her mother told the story of her birth many times. One day, when her mother was pregnant for her, a colleague in the office gave her a N10 note and upon getting home, she noticed rashes all over her body.

Her mother panicked.
She was Catholic but she knew this was "beyond" church hence she sought alternatives from the "other side".

Yes. She got relief and since then became careful of people and gifts. The world was a wicked place she would always tell her children.

At 9 months into the pregnancy...
... her daughter wasn't making an attempt to come out and then by the 10 month, she came - looking like a one year old child - her skin wrinkled and always cranky immediately she beheld the light from a fallen world.

Her mother always told her siblings - she's a special child.
However, whatever she did, her mother gave the same excuse - All this is happening because of the circumstance surrounding her birth.

As she grew older, she always played the victim card and gradually became a troublesome person.

Yet, her mum continued with the same excuse.
Her younger brother, who was two classes behind her in primary school, met her and overtook her in class because she repeated thrice.

It was always a problem between them. Gradually, bitterness set in.

She said "Everyone was moving on including my younger ones...
... and no one paid attention to me. I was hurting but I had to smile and pretend all was well. Disrespect set in and there was this 'pity' I detested but I silently enjoyed it".

As she grew, it felt like everyone had left her. The whole family would be in the house...
...but would forget she even existed. Within her family members, she became a ghost.

In that loneliness, bitterness set in and she started becoming sickly. The shade of her skin became darker and she started muttering to herself in her quiet place.

Her mental health?
Was greatly affected.

Day and night, they tried to help her but she was far gone.

Then one day, her mother called him - My daughter is dying and she's in the hospital with a kidney problem.

Nothing stays in her stomach - everything comes out as blood.

He came visiting.
He saw her and steeled himself because he could perceive the cloak of death.

He quickly hugged her, muttered a prayer and said "I hope you know I love you?". She smiled and they got talking.

"I want to tell you about someone who can help you overcome this pain" he said.
"I can speak confidently about him because I have been exactly where you are and He brought me out of that darkness and quagmire of deep seated hurt with tendrils that lurked in your earthly reality and affected your very mind and body".

"Who?" she asked.

"JESUS" he answered.
"Oh!" she exclaimed a bit disappointed. He understood her disappointment because he had felt a similar way when someone told him the same thing.

He wasn't deterred and in that same vein, he started speaking to her under the unction of the Holy Spirit.

She listened attentively.
And the more he spoke, she started lifting her head and colour started returning to her and after about 15 minutes, under the cold room, she started sweating and then he asked her:

"Would you love to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour?"

"Yes, I want to". She said.
He led her to the prayer of salvation and then told her about the One who could complete the gift of salvation - The Holy Spirit.

He laid hands on her, called her full names and commanded her to receive the Holy Ghost and she started speaking in tongues.

It was wonderful.
As she was speaking, he didn't remove his hands from her head as he began to make declarations and speaking life into that damaged kidney and other parts of her body.

She continued sweating until she felt better. He quickly anointed her and broke whatever was lingering.
As they prayed in tongues, the odour of death filtered away to be replaced by a fragrance that comes only for those called into Zion.

Unforgiveness is a dangerous thing.

Many people would rather feed it than let it go. We hold on fast to the justification that anyone who...
... hurts us should not go scot-free. We want retribution and if God cannot do it for us, we seek alternatives - dangerous alternatives.

When Jesus spoke of forgiveness, he used 7 and 70; he was simply saying - forgive boundlessly - holding no one to heart.
People would hurt you including those in the body of Christ but you should have forgiveness in your pocket all the time.

Do you know why?

Because you also hurt people and they have forgiven you or holding you to heart which is also dangerous.

Why dangerous?
Because un-forgiveness affects your body organs as well as your mental health.

Today, let go! Call that name of the person who has hurt you and just say: "Lord, I forgive".

The Holy Spirit would do the rest.

Also, forgive yourself, ok? It's OK!
Remember, the more you forgive, the more Christ is formed in you. It's a process and I know by the power of the Holy Spirit, you shall come out better and strong.

The Lord shall keep you in perfect peace as your heart is stayed on Him - Amen.

A couple of days ago as I sat in the presence of One, he showed me a vision of a waterfall and a medium sized bowl was placed under it.

He went further to explain: “This is how I’m pouring on my people in these days but what they want is a measure.”
Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.”
Isaiah 32:15 NKJV

Can a bowl make a barren land into a fruitful field?

“Never”. I replied.
There are no limitations with me except you.

Tonight, we would be ministering on the TEAM Word and Prophecies Telegram platform.

There’s always an outpouring and I know the Holy Spirit longs to make many of you a fruitful field and then, a Forest:

The reason I bought a James Hardley Chase was because of the scantily dressed women.

I started smoking because of the Marlboro advert of a cowboy wearing Sancho boots with Levi Strauss jeans.

I started going to the gym because of the front covers of Mills and Boon.
Reading books of such made me see women as filial and weak because in such books, the woman was resisting physically yet desiring within.

The man was supposed to dominate her by kissing her fiercely.

Porn? It was endless. We had older ones who counted women as trophies.
Anything good? Yes! I studied Computer Science because of Computer Chronicles that was showing back then on TV.

I thirsted for the supernatural when I watched a ministration by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome on Channels.

I didn’t understand it but I desired it.

Yesterday on the TEAM platform, we had fun when I endlessly teased the younger men who were unmarried and not in a relationship.

It was a tease but deep down, I was serious. I called them - Set Ndi "God told me to tell you" and in my years as a Believer I know this -
... many young men aren't trying in their steps in wooing a woman and they don't even want to learn.

I was sharing on Zoom in I programme I was invited to speak, on how I spoke to my wife and the things I did to win her over.

The fact that God spoke didn't stop me...
...playing my part. I wrote poems, love letters and prayers as a way of assuring her of the future God has planned for us.

My wife still has those letters today and still reads them to me (where I form hard guy but deep down, I'm hailing myself..lol).

It still makes her smile.

Every man has a story. Our stories are what makes us human. The stories that interest me the most are those in which the Holy Spirit changes the course of one’s life.

I recall his story.

A new party had finally taken over the political sphere of the country.
There was so much jubilation but with it came a witch-hunt on those who were enjoying the dividends of the previous administration.

EFCC didn’t waste time. His accounts were frozen and he was invited and grilled.

His passport was seized.
Things took a downward spiral and life became difficult.

His wife had to get several loans to assist where necessary and that took a toll on her.

An assistant branch manager who still took Tricycle to work daily. The children had to change schools.

It was in January of 2019 during a first Sunday service of the year he was made Men's Fellowship leader.

The gathering of men was poor and the commitment from them was nothing to write home about.

Time and time again, the Pastor called for Men to sit up but no response.
The previous leader was a fantastic man who had grown weary and discouraged due to life's challenges. The financial strain on him was too much.

He tried. He really did but it was never enough.

When he was to step down, the Pastor asked him "Who will take over?".
He didn't hesitate - "Brother X" he said.

The Pastor called Brother X immediately he got into church and informed him.

"You will be the new Men's Fellowship leader" said the Pastor.

Brother X laughed because on the last week of December, the Holy Spirit already told him.

There are times in church we must yield to the move of the Spirit simply because there are certain things He wants to handle personally.

I once attended a church where if sin and hell isn’t preached, the service was not considered “hot”.
The Pastor was a good man but he really wanted to bring people to Christ but his approach was worrisome.

He would bring up certain OT teachings and tie it to issues church members were facing.

After the service, everyone was somber and “cut to the heart”.
People would come for altar call but after that service, you won’t see them again.

“The wages of sin is death...” and under my breath, I’ll whisper “and the gift of God is everlasting life”.

The church wasn’t growing and even the ministers were weary.
