This tendency to minimize rising antisemitism is nothing new for journalists who, raised on critical race theory and a pathetic understanding of Jewish history, can’t see the truth of the matter. I documented the phenomenon here: camera.org/article/camera…

Question: Why is it only antisemites that the media writ large feels the need to coddle and empathize with?

Should the individual profiled in this piece have directed her hatred at another minority, I very much doubt that it would've been similarly explained away
The gist of this piece: 'Oh it's just Bonnie, the friendly neighborhood antisemite. Yeah, she hangs up signs calling to Nuke Israel and protesting circumcision, but she had a horrible family tragedy, so it's understandable.'
Even by the admittedly low standards that I have for @washingtonpost this is remarkably pathetic

@sourmelons2 Because: if you look at the thread he called the democratically leader of the Jewish state "Fuhrer." Calling a Jew a Nazi is antisemitic. Yet, curiously I don't see you calling him a pig although he engaged in Holocaust revisionism by denying the work of a known Nazi collaborator
@sourmelons2 Odd how you aren't outraged about that. Further, you keep saying that it was but "one man." This too is false, and allow me to briefly explain why:

I’ll give $100 to anyone who can point me to @SenSanders statement criticizing Hamas when they were shooting down Palestinians protesting during the Hunger Revolution not even 2 yrs ago. Or when the PA was imprisoning/torturing Palestinian-Americans for selling land to Jews.
Hint: None exists.Official PA policy/law makes selling land to Jews punishable by death. The land is Judenrein. It’s illegal to be gay—w punishments also being violent. Palestinians are imprisoned for Facebook posts.Journalists are tortured.Those who murder Jews receive salaries
No elections have been held in more than a decade. The current ruler, Mahmoud Abbas, is in the 15th year of a four year term. It is a one-party, one-ruler autocracy. No independent courts. No legislature.

Last year, reps @IlhanMN & @RashidaTlaib tried to go on a trip sponsored by an org, Miftah, that has claimed Jews consume Christian blood.

The legacy media largely declined to note that 2 members of Congress were associating w an antisemitic org.
@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib I provided proof of Miftah's blood libels and praise for suicide bombers. I sent it to several reporters and editors at major outlets.

It is undeniably newsworthy. 2 members of Congress, both high-profile, associating with a virulently antisemitic organization.
@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib I highlighted the media's complicity on numerous occasions, most recently here

1. No mention that Pal leaders have rejected numerous offers for statehood dating back to 1937. More recently, in 2000,2001&2008. Last formal offer, accepted by Israel, included more than 90% of "West Bank" &
@washingtonpost a capital in eastern Jerusalem.

2. No mention that Pal leaders refused bilateral negotiations--required by Oslo Accords that created the PA--under Obama, as well. In 2014 and 2016, the PA rejected, and Israel accepted, proposals to restart talks based on the 2008 offer
