@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib Members of Congress are literally blood libeling and they're getting away with it--emboldened to do so--because our vaunted fourth estate enables them.
@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib Too often we treat certain people as good faith actors; our criticism and critiques are predicated on the idea that they're mistaken and will reform if only properly nudged in the right direction.
@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib Well, let me say: Many in the press knew about Miftah's history--I told them about it. And if they didn't know immediately they could've done what I did and 1. Used google and found it in 2 minutes 2. Reported on it afterwards; it being very much a story.

@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib What's the takeaway? Many in the press, namely at major U.S. news outlets, aren't good faith actors. They aren't even journalists in the proper sense of the term. They party press stenographers. Hacks unwilling to report anything that deviates from their preferred narratives.
@IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib Treat them w wholesale contempt. Mock their pretensions to being impartial and fair and balanced. They're not.
And hold them responsible for allowing antisemitism to fester in the halls of Congress. It is dangerous. And it is unforgivable.
