No elections have been held in more than a decade. The current ruler, Mahmoud Abbas, is in the 15th year of a four year term. It is a one-party, one-ruler autocracy. No independent courts. No legislature.
Official media that claims the US created ISIS and which encourages Palestinians to murder Jews at a Holocaust commemoration ceremony. Media that literally claims all of Israel is “Palestine” and which traffics in the worst antisemitism
That’s just the “moderates,” the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Authority. Sanders doesn’t criticize their actual bigotry, hatred, racism, homophobia and support for violence and ethnic cleansing. Indeed, he wants to give them money.

The fact of the matter: I’ve written and spoken more about Palestinian human rights than @SenSanders who isn’t “pro-Palestinian.” Hes actually—on a good day—“anti-Israel” & “pro-PLO.”
