{How I Close Influencers}

As promised

I’m about to drop a thread on how I contact and message influencers with 100k-1M followers

most people’s bottleneck is in their outreach

Let’s change that

So how do we reach out to high level business owners?

Influencers, agency owners, coaches, etc

Well first off, let’s place ourselves in their shoes

Many of my clients have been verified, 100k ++ followers, etc

They get TONS of DM’s

Every. Single. Day
Would get pretty annoying having 30 people pitch you for a quick “virtual coffee” or whatever every day right?

So we’re NOT going to do that

They’re humans too just like us and we want to make them our friends
I don’t even THINK about mentioning my services in any of my first messages

again- that’s what everyone is doing

Do what everyone does- and you’ll get everyone else’s results (not very good)

So what do I do?
I simply send a text or video DM introducing myself, maybe a fun fact Ab myself, then I comment on something on their page that’s SPECIFIC

And I ask a GOOD question that’s thought provoking, may even be humorous
Here’s some examples: obviously a lot of the people I reach out to have an online biz

I’ll often ask them about their journey

And I’m GENUINELY interested

What makes them tick? What made them choose this path? What roadblocks did they hit? How did they overcome them?
Here’s a bit more of a humor example

This guy has all these skydiving videos on his page

I was like “ dude this video of you skydiving in Bali is nuts... how the hell did you convince your parents to do this?!?!

I’ve been trying to convince mine for ages!”
He thought it was funny and we talked about traveling for 5 mins in DM’s

Where we want to travel, our fav places, etc

THAT is rapport

I make people real online friends

Say nothing about my services
But AFTER I feel we’re online friends

I’ll send them a 2-3 min loom video with some free suggestions on how to improve their funnel

Or I might offer a free audit of a sales call

Point is- I lead with VALUE
And I deliver value to the point where they’re like I should of PAID for this

And then when I actually pitch them- for either a phone call or on the phone for actual services

I don’t even need to sell them- they’re like hell ya let’s do it (literally)
This ISNT a fast process

It’s a longer sales cycle

The Tik tok influencer I closed took a little over a month

Constantly following up, I bought his merch, listened to his podcasts and texted him my favorite parts
Do you see the difference?

I’m GENUINELY connecting with people

I’m supporting them- hoping they win and wanting to be a part of it
And then they realize that, and it’s not “oh this guy wants my money”

It’s “oh this guy ACTUALLY wants me to win in life and just wants to help”

And THAT’S the difference
This thread should NOT of been free

You’re probably thinking “damn I would of paid for this”

And exactly... I practice what I preach

And when the time comes that some of you are ready for my coaching program

I won’t have to sell you

It’ll be a no brainer

most people suck at cold outreach

people buy from people whom they like and they trust

so if there is no likeliness, and no trust, you will not be booking a sales call and then closing that prospect

Let’s break this down even further

I’m in the phone sales space

lots of people just DM influencer “yo bruh you need a closer?”

“How’re you closing your sales calls?”

“I could make you more money by closing your deals if you’ve got 15 min this week to chat about it?”

People get those 100x a day
They will tell you to F off

so here is what you do

first- find your prospect

Second- gather as much info on them as you can, from their profile, maybe google them, etc the more info the better

[Why Phone Sales is One of the Best Business Models]

I used to offer fb ads as a service in the info product niche

Here’s how I’d make money

outbound messaging -> send to my calendar-> sales call -> close -> fulfill service (run ads) -> retain client (weekly reporting etc)
A lot of work after the close

so i stopped offering it

With phone sales, you’re literally inserting yourself at the step where the transaction occurs and getting a commission

no fulfillment after, and you’re doing no work to have the calls booked to your calendar
you just show up, take the 20-45 minute call, and can get commissions ranging from $200 to thousands

For one phone call

Can be done from anywhere, and only requires your phone and internet

[How I Structure Sales Calls]

1. Very quick intro: I don’t waste much time on “small talk”

2. Set the agenda: “alright John, to tee up this call I’m just going to ask you a few questions about yourself to see where you’re at, then, if it sounds like we can help...
“We can discuss what it’d look like moving forward. Sound cool?”

3. Why’d they book the call: “what was your motivation for the call today John?”

4. Background: what do they do? What’s their business? What’s their MRR, what do they price their service at, etc
5. Pain: what is their biggest bottleneck? How long have they been dealing with it? What happens if they get off the call? Does anything change? Keep asking ?’s until clear problem diagnosed

Wanted to share a question one of my email subscribers had

“You say you can make 6 figures off 2-4 hours of work per day, is that really true? Most people I know work 40 hours per week for 4-6k per month”

Let’s break it down
My response was if you follow them into work, and track what they do every minute, and what tasks they do and how much of it moves the needle forward for their business

probably only 2-3 hours of their day would move the needle forward
A lot of it could probably even be automated as @ROGUEWEALTH said a few days ago

And when I say 2-4 hours of work per day

It’s deep work, no phone, no one can fuck with you
