It‘s #UniMentalHealthDay – we’ve recently analysed students’ well-being and mental health.

In January, our Student COVID-19 Insights Survey in England found almost 2 in 3 students’ well-being and mental health had worsened during the pandemic.

Many students have found themselves isolating, perhaps in households with others they don’t know well.

More students reported a decline in their well-being and mental health in January (63%) than in the November 2020 survey (57%).

For many, university life hasn’t been what they’d hoped.

In January,

- 37% were dissatisfied/very dissatisfied with their academic lives (up 7% on Nov)
- 56% were dissatisfied/very dissatisfied with their social lives (up 3% on Nov)

Our analysis is based on experimental statistics and has a relatively small sample size.
