How to land agency clients when you have ZERO and are just starting out.

First things first.

> You sell a service for $1000+
> You are proficient & above average at your skill

You've watched YouTube videos, taken a course, and KNOW what you're talking about.

If you pass that test, keep reading.

Let's say you sell web design. (This works for any service)

You have NO previous results for clients, so you can't bank on that.

Here's what you're going to do.

Find 100 businesses that you ALREADY want to work with.

You've scraped 100 leads, you go to their website and ask

Do I REALLY want to redesign this website?

ONLY cold email them if you truly want to work with them.

Now, here's what you're going to put in your cold email:

First line: PERSONALIZED compliment

This is ABSOLUTELY necessary and will increase your reply rates

> Dig through their website
> Find something personal
> Compliment them on it

Look for results they've gotten clients, best selling products, or talking points in recent content

Give them CONCRETE and ACTIONABLE ideas to increase their conversion rate.

List them out.

1. Idea to increase conversions
2. Idea to increase conversions

These ideas must be absolutely SPECIFIC to the prospect.

This shows you know what you're talking about and can help them make MORE MONEY.

Put these as a column in a google sheet:

Compliment
Idea 1
Idea 2

Now in your sending software you use merge fields

"I've been digging through your site for the past 30 minutes and wanted to send over 2 tips to increase conversions:

1. {{idea1}}
2. {{idea2}}"

Last line: Call to action

Plain, simple, and straightforward.

"Do you have time for a quick call this week so we can talk about this?"

That's it.

You don't have previous results so you give them VALUE upfront.

To recap:

> Find people you WANT to work with
> Send them a cold email
> Personalize the email
> 2 concrete and actionable ideas
> Call to action

It will be obvious that you email is NOT spam

And that you took the time out of your day to reach out.

If you do not take the time to do this, they will not take the time to reply.

Stop spraying and praying sending 1000s of garbage cold emails.

It's not gonna work.

It needs to be personal.

You need to RESPECT the sales process.

Think long term.
