(1) Here's a link to my thread about Trump getting the Covid vax himself in Jan 2021 and trying to keep that a secret so as not to alienate the anti-vaxxer faction within his fanbase.
(2) Biden said "President Harris" and SO WHAT. No one cares. That is, no serious person.
I don't think those who voted for Biden did so bc he's an energetic, inspiring leader for them.
They did it to get rid of Trump. And, after seeing his sore loser routine, I now see why!
(3) I support conservative policies so, from early 2016 to late 2020, Trump represented the best chance of seeing those policies implemented. And if he had behaved like an adult after 11/3/20, the #PostTrumpGOP would have a decent chance of doing well in the midterms and 2024.
(4) Unfortunately for Americans who, like me, are law abiding, non-racist, anti-racist, and generally living in the 21st century, the Trump faction just will not stop giving Democrats the reaction they seek.
8 people were callously murdered in GA yesterday.
(5) It's clear to all of us, that this spree killing was motivated by race, with other factors being quite secondary to that.
We already had one idiotic police officer trying to explain it as the oxygen thief's "bad day."
At a time like this. Jeez, we're all having a bad day!
(6) I'm trying to hold others to the same standard to which I try to hold myself.
NO EXCUSES.
Own your behavior. It is the path to happiness and success, I promise you.
If you were wrong, admit it, then do better and move on.
(7) I was wrong about Bill Clinton, until 1998 when he lied under oath and to our faces then got away with it. He made sure Hillary looked like the longsuffering spurned wife, garnering unmerited sympathy ahead of her long-planned runs for office. (2000, 2008, 2016).
(8) In 2000 I was still fairly liberal but I supported Bush-Cheney for a bunch of reasons, including their promise to "restore honor and dignity to the White House." Promise kept. I supported the Iraq war decision, and still do. The best freedom fries are made in the USA.
(9) In 2007 I figured the GOP candidate would probably lose and so I looked at the Democrat candidates and figured Hillary would make a good first female POTUS.
Don't worry, I wised up to her before the primary race finished. She said Obama wasn't ready to handle the 3am call.
(10) Hillary also claimed, more than once, that she landed under sniper fire in Bosnia. There are photos of her arriving, with teen Chelsea Clinton, under perfectly normal circumstances for a FLOTUS & first kid.
The USSS and USAF would never risk such precious cargo that way.
(11) So, the compulsive lying of HRC was the thread that unraveled the whole sweater for me. Stolen valor, and defaming of the military/LE.
I have zero tolerance for not backing the blue (when they are clearly innocent.)
And she was racist toward Obama. That, too.
(12) I was wrong about both Clintons, and about Obama.
3 weeks after taking office, he threw California's LGBT communities under the bus by breaking his promise to support their local campaigning for equality.
He broke every promise, in the end. But Democrats still love him.
(13) I was wrong about Bernie Sanders. I had viewed him as the most likely D candidate to go up against the R candidate. I knew HRC would be a toxic candidate, and she was.
I watched HRC & Obama ensure that Bernie's primary votes went nowhere. Bernie did NOTHING to fight it.
(14) By that time it was clear to all that Trump was going to be the nominee, so I started reading what his actual policy goals were and to my surprise found there was nothing there I disagreed with. eg he opposed _illegal_ immigration & jihadist terrorism not Muslims.
(15) As I said, I supported Trump's stated policies. By Jan 2020 there were few Trump policies I disagreed with, such as not being enough of a foreign policy hawk to my taste, & breaking the sub judice rule concerning high profile cases eg Bergdahl.
(16) I wasn't always a Liz Cheney supporter, btw. I saw her as part of the GOPe that was opposing Trump. But then 1/6 happened, an event that I have been researching and writing about ever since. Few people accurately understand whose duty it was to provide adequate security.
(17) When Cheney and 16 other brave GOP Senators and Reps stood up to Trump's bullying during the 2021 impeachment process, I became a firm supporter of all of them.
I feel the same way they do. The only viable way forward is a #PostTrumpGOP.
(18) I gotta go run some errands then hopefully I will complete this thread with more commentary about today's headlines, esp. the ridiculously thoughtless comments of @RepChipRoy (R-TX21) about racial & political violence.

This would be funny if it wasn't so close to the truth. Many times in past yr, Trump has shown by his actions, omissions &, sometimes, his actual words, that he is at best indifferent to otherwise preventable deaths.
eg Failing to deploy enough DCNG for the known threat on 1/6.
And for those quibbling about the cause of each death linked to 1/6:
The Trump supporter who was trampled by the crowd as they pushed through a line of USCP in riot gear outside the Capitol is (so far) the clearest case.
That line was the key place where security failed.
Trump apologists disregard whatever you say after quoting 5 deaths "caused by" the rioting. They have swallowed the lie that no rioter "murdered" anyone, esp. Officer Brian Sicknick.
The investigation into his death is ONGOING, folks. Nothing was disproven by anyone so far.
Even when I was a Trump supporter I didn't have much time for this under achieving trust fund kid. Like DJT, Don Jr continues to say and do things that damage the GOP.
(2) Former President Trump has lost the support of many Americans, esp. where LEOs and military are concerned.
He did not have their back on 1/6. He, like all of us, knew that political violence was likely that day, and he did absolutely nothing to try to prevent or reduce it.
(3) Tucker's comments about women in the military were monumentally stupid. Women are allowed to enlist and, as such, their uniforms should fit properly, especially life-saving body armor. Most military personnel are not in combat zones most, let alone all of the time.
(1) Actor Stacey Dash spoke to the Daily Mail & as per usual the far left are calling her the Devil incarnate no matter what she says, & the far right (aka the Trump faction of the GOP) don't like her now, either.
(1) After decades of studying & working in politics, I finally realized it's better to have a leader who is a team player than someone who goes it alone.
That's essentially what Trump did, esp. during the 2020-2021 transition. He took advice from the wrong people.
Using a (very) well known Nazi symbol as the literal stage design at a conference is not just about antisemitism.
Many groups were brutally attacked by the Third Reich.
(3) The MAGA talking points about Nazism always incl. mention of the Jewish people, which is good, but then they claim no one in their mvt could be antisemitic bc MAGA policies have been so good for the Jewish ppl.
(Those MAGA policies were a big part of why I was once MAGA.)
