NEW: latest #ProudBoys conspiracy indictment for the #Capitol breach is damning, and shows plenty of planning.

Proud Boys "Chairman" Enrique Tarrio also shows up, and appears to have been briefed on elements the plan.

2/ The indictment covers Nov-Dec fundraising & organizing (also covered in superseded indictments) but gets INTERESTING on January 4th...

When #ProudBoys "Chairman" Enrique Tarrio is arrested, accused conspirators panic that communications are compromised & create new channels.
3/ KEY: one of the indicted #ProudBoys posts messages on various PB chats claiming "no plan" [me speculating: meant to confuse listeners?]...

An hour later unindicted co-conspirator 1 ("UCC-1") is busy planning & directing the newly created small group.

Who is this UCC-1?
4/ On January 5th, the "Boots on the Ground" channel is created.

Joseph Biggs (a Florida #ProudBoys leader) reminds the ~60 members not to get into fights that night because... "Tomorrow's the day"
5/ More logistics around communications and planning happen on the 5th.

That evening Biggs messages fellow conspirators "We have a plan...I gave [first name of Proud Boys Chairman] a plan. The one I told the guys and he said he had one"
6/ #ProudBoys "Chairman" Tarrio getting told of the plan is... super interesting:

- Tarrio was previously a "prolific" informer for law enforcement per @AramRoston
- Tarrio had just been arrested, meaning he couldn't join the event on 6th.

7/ On the 6th as we now know, the #ProudBoys group helped lead the #Capitol siege.

Interesting detail: several Proud Boys did two breaches: first West, then East side...directly in front of the #OathKeepers.

Two made it inside Senate chamber after 2nd breach.
8/ The indictment narrative ends with #ProudBoys leader Charles Donohoe messaging the "Boots on the Ground" chat at 3:38pm.

"[w]e are regrouping with a second force."

NUTS: last week I hit a CAPTCHA that would not let me advance unless I wrongly ID'd a mailbox as a parking meter.

Since our inputs are used as training for the machine learning I began to wonder whether this would start compounding.

NEW IMAGES: Julian Khater bear spraying #Capitol Police officer Sicknick & his colleagues.

Once the officers are hit, they appear to react one-by-one and retreat to flush their eyes with water. 1/ Khater spraying the officersText and image: the officers are seen bent over trying to waMore images of the officers retreating.
2/ Exchange between Khater and Tanios caught on video:

Khater: "give me that bear s ***" [reaches into Tanios' backpack]
Tanios: "hold on, hold on, not yet, not yet...its still early"

Prosecutors: this shows they were working in concert & had a plan to use the bear spray.
3/ Multiple tipsters fingered George Tanios (@FBI #254) & Julian Khater (FBI #190).

Tipsters also directed the investigators to Facebook postings by Tanios of himself at the #Capitol wearing the same outfit in the FBI's BOLO pic of him. NEW: #ProudBoys member Christopher Worrell was just arrested for participating in the #Capitol siege... and unloading his pepper spray at the police.

He got 'agitated' when the @FBI first contacted him..

Let me share fact about Chris aka #SgtPepperSprayer...

It's happening...again. Tucker Carlson is outrage-farming YOU.

Fox News is struggling to stay relevant post-Trump. So, they bait YOU to engage with outrage.

Even when you post critically, you keep them in the news cycle.

2/ Your excellent dragging of Tucker Carlson's latest outrage will get positive reinforcement from ppl that agree with you.

But to Fox News it's a positive datapoint in their analytics.

Their takeaway: 'it's working!... Tucker killed it with that segment... let's do more.'
3/ Outrage farming for networks losing viewers in 3 steps:

1 - Go wall-to-wall on the dangers of 'cancel culture.'

2 - Say outrageous things calculated to provoke calls for cancellation.

3 -Curate the drama for your viewers. You are fighting for THEM. They need to back you.
