Flutterwave is now like a big tech in the Nigerian tech space.

Hopefully, you guys will be able to have multiple (even differentiated) products running concurrently, effortlessly.

I repeat, "Give @getBarterApp more Rocketfuel" already!
That app is tooo #Swanky to still be unknown by people yet. It's excessively underrated!

Don't know if it's the marketing aspect or something, but action needs and must be taken!

Here's a few recommendations, if you care:

1. Penetrate new and wider markets/audience for it.

I am honestly tired of telling friends how amazing the barter app is.

Even more tired of the "Wao" and SHOCKED face they wear when they give me feedback of how amazing it is!
2. Exploit Influencer marketing for it. @CashApp used it a lot and was successful with it.

Now imagine what @Barter that's way better than Cashapp can achieve

3. Run campaigns that will make Barter a product that's known offline...
...more like a household product (I'm finding it hard to coin the real marketing/growth parlance now, don't know why!).

Basically what I mean is that unlike Flutterwave APIs that is targeted at Devs, Barter is for I guess, the grocery seller...
...the Med Grad looking to write plab to get matched on #MatchDay, the Uniben Graduate that just needs to upskill and pay for a course valued in dollars; the Grand-Dad that's tired of buggy bank apps (Yea! I know Big Chief @asemota said it) and needs to recharge...
4. Get Barter marketing out of the clouds already and mix the product with the users!

5. Brand Ambassadorship programs - Let's shove Influencers and Celebs aside a minute.

Students in campuses are an oil well, give them @getBarterApp
(owned by @theflutterwave, that company that their news of $170m raise was everywhere on social media) t-shirts and you will be the best thing to happen before Tiktok, Twitter and Bone Straight.

There's a joke in there somewhere.
@cowrywise will smile when they hear this, because they squeezed the liquid out of this (in a good way 😉). No pun intended.

4b. NYSC is actively ongoing, look for programs you can offer, or trainings or whatsoever.

Or just simply penetrate or partner with NYSC
You can sponsor high impact youthful programs just the way @Ingressive4Good is doing with @theZuriTeam x @hnginternship
And use the medium to get @getBarterApp into the hands of hundreds of thousands of youths.

Wait, I might have exaggerated there?

Of course not! Hundreds of thousands yearly is correct.

There are several cost-effective ways to achieve this!
5. Start an active @getBarterApp referral program.

Remember "Zoto"? Was hugely popular in schoo back then.

@Boltapp_ng and @OPay_NG does this effortlessly well.

If you guys already do it, then you need to restrategize, as it's obviously not been effective.
6. Don't neglect traditional media.

Billboards are old-fashioned, but not obsolete.

Spread the barter gospel with them.

More even traditional lay fallow for this gracious activities.
7. More so, Content Marketing needs to be on adrenaline mode.

Basically, give out valuable contents and persons will be glued 'fi life'.
8. Lastly and most importantly, treat Barter as a standalone product. Having a separate team - Manager, PM, VP, etc for Barter.

Even Twitter Fleets is treated like a separate product on its own.
(OK! I understand Twitter is much bigger and publicly listed, they can afford to do that and effortlessly, but at least you get my point.

This will help drive growth faster for Barter.
Oh! I know you probably have a few of what I mentioned already running.

But then, it's rather too clear that it's not effective enough. Trust me!
I ran a survey to confirm my points before finally agreeing to stop holding it all in my head and push this thread.
