Secure jobs. Well, mostly that’s already been done. When businesses can return to fully open, they can rehire their trained and experienced staff who received CERB to preserve their jobs & their connections to their employers.

Many will be able to return to their jobs that the federal government kept them tethered to so employers wouldn’t have to search for new staff. A time consuming and costly exercise.

That’s laughable and absurdly ridiculous. First you have to address your own corruption if you’re going to clean up other’s perceived corruption.

The list of conservative crimes, corrupt actions and unethical and immoral policies is so long, it requires a bound novel to record it all in one place.

Extortion, bribery, fraud, election cheating, supporting autocrats, money laundering, connection to organized crime.

That’s CPC under Harper for 10 years and every election. Of which, O’Toole was a key member. It would be extremely unusual for O’Toole to vary from this pattern. He helped Harper sell Canada to China. But he’s the honest man to bring justice, law and order to the land? Please! 🥴

Yep, Justin was a spoiled white rich boy and did something stupid in high school. If everyone of us were judged forever for the stupid things we did in high school, none of us would have jobs. People mature and grow up.

For those saying a costume party is the equivalent to blackface, grow up. Twenty years ago we all had a different worldview on cultural appropriation. One decision or mistake does not cancel a human being forever more.

Conservatives are the cause of most mental health issues across Canada. An all out attack on human rights and freedoms by removing the right to be diverse in thought, dress and beliefs has been their motto for generations. But we’re to believe they’ve had a change of heart? 🙄

I don’t think so. Poilievre stated clearly helping Canadians get through a deadly and devastating pandemic was not the conservative way. Pull up your boot straps, get a job you lazy bum. That’s conservative mental healthcare. That hasn’t changed.

Conservatives believe in work will set you free. The dignity of slaving for business owners for pittance wages is the cure for mental illness.

Large bailouts for businesses who lost profits during the pandemic is their mental health plan. At taxpayers expense.

So is this O’Toole admitting Mulroney made a grave error by selling Canada’s publicly owned drug manufacturing capacity? No. It’s another private is better mantra. Kenney’s been selling a Calgary business as the replacement to invest public tax dollars to ensure private profits.

Cons don’t believe in publicly owned infrastructure. Which is why public institutions & assets were sold off in droves under Mulroney and Harper. (Remember, O’Toole was a key Harper minister). So they believe we don’t remember fire sales of Canadian assets to balance con budgets?

Alluding to security is a hint where Harper went and e O’Toole will tread again. The military industrial complex. Next to oil and gas, military spending is the strongman’s favoured budget line. Everyone feels more secure buying copious weapons and building military equipment.

Maybe we can sign another secret contract or two with the Saudis. Or sell military equipment to Hungary and Poland instead of Ukraine and other sovereign states threatened by annexation and encroaching autocrats?

Didn’t MacKay offer to set up a missile defence system in the north? Is that still conservative plan to open the North and defend it vigorously thus requiring the expansion of the military. Nothing like jobs with guns for gun loving supporters to bring in the votes.

And the economy. Trickledown economics with its austere cuts to programs and services impacting the most vulnerable. Who needs healthcare, a public service or community infrastructure grants when we can have a balanced budget and fat cat bloated plutocrats running the show?

We’ve had 40 years of experience with trickledown bullshit being passed off as Austrian economics and free market wizardry. Have we all not suffered enough? I have. All of us have.

Apparently the conservatives have endless numbers of bovine stomachs they can tap into to regurgitate and rebrand their tired and self serving policies.

O’Toole can’t come up with an original idea. His base won’t let him.

That doesn’t mean the rest of us need chew the same cud over and over again.

Or accept that pig in lipstick has a new plan for Canada.
