It’s no secret that Sheila Gunn Reid, Rebel Media and Ezra Levant promote racist stereotypes and disinformation. Both have been labelled as white supremacist apologists who regularly amplify racist and xenophobic tropes, beliefs & values.

So it should come as no surprise that both are promoting the Grace Life/Pastor Coates anti masking & anti rule of law nonsense taking place in Edmonton, Alberta over the last few months. White supremacists promoting white supremacy under the auspices of devout evangelism & faith.

The extremist religious right, aka Christian Nationalists, continue to amplify and call for outright civil disobedience and flouting public health orders as ordained by god.

The public mostly ignores this issue. Too political, too incendiary. Too inflammatory. Fringe movement.

Any effort to legally and temporarily restrict the religious freedoms of these believers (to do what they believe god commands) is seen as severe persecution, equivalent to Romans feeding Christians to lions for entertainment. That is a tad hyperbolic.

At the same time, far right white supremacist editorials get published by national mainstream media. This week, it’s Conrad Black (Trump pardon darling) opining about how indigenous hyperbolics make up the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report. I.e. it wasn’t that bad. 🙄

While the Conservative annual convention dishes up extremist religious values, climate denial and white supremacist fodder as the popular policy.

If following established provincial/federal law is religious persecution, what does that imply is coming in future legal conflicts with Dominionist Christians?

What about income and property taxes? Human rights? Worker protection? Health, safety & environmental regulations?

This narrative is being propagated across the globe. Not just Canada. The US, UK, Australia, Italy, Spain, Nigeria, Brazil, etc. in evangelical Christian communities.

Where are these ideas coming from?

Pastors (exclusively men) are being trained to challenge constitutions and codified law to advance Christian domination and control of society.

Trained to promote white supremacy. Trained to promote misogyny, homophobia, xenophobia, racism and bigotry.

Proudly declaring their patriarchal right to reclaim the pulpit. And ultimately to reclaim political and economic control of society and social policy.

Grace Life Church Edmonton is associated with the Grace Churches organization globally.

An organized effort to remove democracy and human rights under the guise of patriarchal biblical authority.

This is a political movement. NOT religious belief. And this Christian Nationalist group of churches is actively attempting to undermine democracy and rule of law.

This isn’t the only Group of churches attempting to undermine democracy and the rule of law.

There are several others. Calvary, Reformists, NAR Pentecostals, Southern Baptist, traditionalist & evangelical Catholics.

There are a host of church groups that want to remove democracy and use the bible as the only legal code.

While most focus on the white supremacy displayed at the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the US Capitol building, there were two distinct groups of insurrectionists present.

White supremacists AND Christian Nationalists/Q’Anon conspiracy theorists.

What many don’t realize or want to acknowledge is there is significant overlap in White supremacy and Christian Dominionism.

The two have partnered with a common cause: destroy liberalism and social democracy.

Both further extending their influence on the public by recruiting vulnerable people with Q’Anon conspiracy theories heavily saturated with racist and religious overtones in Q’Anon rhetoric.

There is a strategy behind this tactic.

Recently 8 people were gunned down in Atlanta. Before that January 6 insurrection, as well the backlash against BLM protesters.

Everyone of those events has been conducted by white supremacists, radicalized extremist Christian Nationals and Q’Anon conspiracy theorists.

Trump made a Faustian bargain with the far right Christian Nationalists. The leaders of this political movement demanded Supreme Court justices and loading the judiciary with Christian Nationalists. These are the same leaders who organized and carried out the Jan 6 insurrection.

This is how these leaders plan to overtake democracy and eliminate liberalism and socialism. Through the collaborative efforts of white supremacists and white Christian Nationalists.

This is not a small fringe movement.

Thousands of protesters. Apparently it was international White power day. Trump supporters, Christian Nationalists, Q’Anon believers.

This was one of the police responses to violence. On a man in a wheelchair.

There’s also video of the violent exchange. Police tackled the man’s wife and wanted to press charges against the couple.

Note how this is attributed to white supremacy. Even though the violent protester was wearing a shirt identifying himself as a Christian.

This isn’t Christianity. And if it is, Christianity has taken a very dark turn.

When a violent protester is protected by the police and given tacit approval for committing these crimes, those who call themselves Christian have a choice to make.

Denounce this as Christian belief or assume the identity of violent insurrectionist.

Please stop calling this just racism. It’s a much larger problem than fringe groups voicing racist beliefs.

This is a growing global political movement incorporating white supremacy, evangelical Christian beliefs and values and pseudo-religious Q’Anon conspiracy theorists.

Stop ignoring religious beliefs being propagated throughout Protestant & Catholic faithful to reject democracy.

Please expand your understanding of this issue beyond mere racism.

These groups are organized, coordinated, fuelled with hatred for anyone who opposes their dominion, well fused and supported by law enforcement.

This is FASCISM rebranded for the 21st century.
