This is incredible and unforgivable. People who don’t understand science or protocol judging people who do. And they say they’re progressive.

When did progressive mean undermining the sitting government because they aren’t as far left as you?

When did trial by public opinion ever work out? Give me one example where cancel culture turned out to be the right thing to do. I can think of several that prove trial by public opinion isn’t democratic or advisable.

Al Frankin bent to public pressure & now he has a podcast.

He could be an effective senator investigating Trump’s criminal cabal. But the public wanted a human sacrifice.

When did innocent until proven guilty get replaced with smeared and presumed guilty?

Who is paying for left libertarians to continue to pollute public discourse with innuendo, smears, conjecture, gossip, propaganda and disinformation?

And why are people so dumb to abandon the rule of law?

I’m so sick and tired of the fake sanctimony and ignorant opinions of those on the left being accepted as gospel because they identify as progressive.

When did progressives turn to mob justice? About the same time the far right started cancelling people.

Get a fricking grip people. We don’t ask people to resign based on rumours and brave public testimony that isn’t under oath.

We don’t judge scientists on their caution to accept new untried protocol because they are paid to be skeptics.

Evidence is generally required to be tested. In a court room or a lab. Then you can make decisions based on evidence.

Or has everyone lost their bloody mind wanting to be first to display their superior virtue and values?

I don’t give one f**k about your virtue. And your values obviously don’t include democracy, truth, facts, evidence and the rule of law. So stuff those values where the sun don’t shine.

If you’re pushing to get Fauci replaced or Cuomo fired, you need to re-examine your values. Because you aren’t progressive. You’re part of a nasty and destructive mob wielding mob justice.

Which is so undemocratic it’s laughable, almost. Frankly I find it pathetic.

Like a 15 year old boy with a flashlight in the theatre shining “justice” on unsuspecting patrons with their feet up, you’ve become what you claim to hate most: a moral enforcer drunk on their own new power.

Smarten the eff up! There are protocols for scientific evidence and rule of law for a reason.

Jumping to conclusions is ridiculous and dangerous.

Group think is not democracy. It’s just a bunch of clowns acting like they know something. When they actually know nothing.

And who actually thinks Glenn Greenwald is trustworthy. For gods sake he’s on Fox News regularly. Who with credibility goes on Fox News? No one on a regular basis.

The populist appeal of being sanctimonious and condescending is getting out of hand. Yes hold reservations. Anyone would regarding Cuomo. But vilifying the governor who controls the power of clemency and pardons before adequate investigation and a trial is really dumb.

Consider its New York State developing charges against Trump and many of his minions.

There is as much chance that this is a clever smear as it is that Cuomo is a serial sexist. Maybe both are true.

Is there a need for justice to be immediate?

Can anyone say they’d do better than Fauci has done under the circumstances he had to deal with? He’s come out and vilified Trump and the Covid response of Trump’s administration. The man’s life was threatened often while Trump was in power.

You don’t think Trump’s loyalists are looking to ruin his reputation? For eff sakes there are still pastors predicting Trump’s imminent return to the White House and his secret control of the presidency. Conspiracy theories.

Use your head to critically examine the situation.

All the information needs to be considered. Not just the junk that perfectly fits your confirmation bias and the cynicism you have for democracy and rule of law.

We are living in post truth. It’s very difficult to tell what is truth and what is partial truth and what is false.

You can’t believe anyone because it sounds right. If there isn’t enough information to confirm truth and fact, you wait until the information becomes available. Or you act like a common thug using mob justice.

Trust no one outright. Including me. But if someone is working double time to puss you off and get you all fired up to cancel a public figure, you gotta wonder what they true motives are. Be a skeptic, not a cynic. There are good people out there.

But you must work hard to find them. I trust Fauci. He never once compromised his narrative to appease Trump. And he paid the price for sticking with integrity. Some smarmy leftie is going to undermine that reputation built over 60 years FFS? I don’t think so.

Get a clue. Do I trust Cuomo 100%? No. But he was instrumental in guiding New York through the first wave of covid. He kept everyone across US and Canada informed of what to expect. I for one found his daily briefings invaluable.

People are complicated. No one is all good or all bad. Maybe Cuomo is a sexist with a devotion to save the average New York citizen? Seems inconsistent. But then Bill Clinton was a philanderer. And so was Kennedy. Both men had good and bad behaviour.

Because most people are complicated and multifaceted.

Which is why to judge character it needs to be a sum of actions. One action doesn’t define a human being. It’s their behaviour through time. Behaviour which remains consistent through time is deemed to represent character.

These appeals sound very similar to well documented strategies by Canadian cons. Dr. Tam has been raked over the coals for providing the most recent confirmed and peer reviewed scientific evidence. And PMJT has endured multiple accusations clearly made to sully his reputation.

There is a lot at stake for Trump. If he was willing to strong-arm Ukraine for fake dirt on Biden’s son, there is a distinct probability he’s doing the same to Cuomo, who he hates with a passion.

So we wait to discern truth from fiction. Like any reasonable person would do.
