Mass deportation of Tamil asylum seekers is being planned by the German government back into the hands of the genocidal state.
Details in the thread below:
The German governemnt is planning to secretly deport a large number of Tamil asylum seekers back to Sri Lanka on the 30th March. The German Tamil refugee community have been facing a large number of raids and arrests recently.
Relatives and friends of these individuals arrested do not know their whereabouts and these individuals have had their phones taken away and have had any forms of communications cut off.
So far according to humanrights.de sources, 31 Tamil refugees are being held in Dusseldorf, about 59 held in Frankfurt and a further 11 in Stuttgart. According to humanrights.de these numbers will increase by the 30th March.
Hypocritically, Germany was also a member of the Core Group that had proposed and passed a resolution about Sri Lanka in the recent UNHRC voting session (on 23rd March) and according to humanrights.de this may be the reason behind the German governemnt’s secrecy about it
Despite the German government’s condemnation of Sri Lanka’s human rights through their involvement in the Core Group, it is deplorable that they are ready to deport a large number of Tamil refugees back to the very government they have criticised.
