So, people that write about January 6th and Q-related topics: I’m going to need to hear you start talking about libertarianism, sovereign individual, the gold standard, cryptocurrency. This is way beyond some kooky online behavior; it’s a long term play to disrupt nation states.
It’s a play to prop up cryptocurrencies as an alternative to central banks and to destabilize fiat currencies. It’s designed to upend the ‘stonk’ market and destroy wealth held in dollars. It will be very, very harmful if not contained now. Is anyone even listening?
If this plan goes to completion (and there is no reason it won’t, if we don’t stop it) it will collapse multilateral alliances and lead to modern feudalism and authoritarian control. One can argue whether we are already there now, for the most part.
But for the love of all that’s good in the world, let’s have a conversation about this. This is Charles Koch running a series of ‘interrelated plays’ to capture democracy and take us back to the Stone Age. All because he and his pals have a fetish for gold and now crypto.
Democracies are supposed to talk about this stuff, and reach consensus. I’m not ok with this and I doubt most people are. If you care about this, join serious people in moving past the 24x7 noise that consumes attention, and talk about what’s really going on here.
Read my six part series (plus coda) on the Big History behind Jan 6. Read Nancy MacLean’s “Democracy in Chains.” Read the execrable “Sovereign Individual” and the pseudoscientific “Fourth Turning.” Look at the actions happening every day that move us further in this direction.
And it’s not about party politics either. There are witting and unwitting allies across the spectrum. Most Democrats and most Republicans have no clue about the scope and nature of this set of plays and what they might mean. We are pretending 1990’s rules still apply.
Until you hear this stuff on Chuck Todd or NPR or Fox, news media does little besides reify the frames that enable us all to be pwned by this not-so-clever band of reality hackers. Either we bust the fourth wall and shout “enough”, or we are complicit.
Red pill, blue pill, black pill, dirtbag left, alt-right, populist, trumpism, never-trumper, libtards... all of it a feeble use of cheap language to try to get people to buy into these stupid and counterproductive frames.
Ditch ALL of it and look at power, networks, and money.
Look at where we are going and consider whether you want a future that resembles democracy, or one more like authoritarian feudalism. Choose wisely. And do something about it.
Break out of the frame and see what’s happening.
We are living through the implementation of the fantasy fiction favored by teenage boys. Unless you signed up for that, and I think most of us did not, it’s time to look at ‘politics as usual’ and how it contributes to this movement. And see that we are not stopping it.
As we contemplate 2022 in American politics, we need to consider how this feudalistic authoritarian movement may warp the playing field towards its advantage with 5th generation warfare. Crashing the economy on Biden’s watch prior to Nov ‘22 would be advantageous to their effort.
We need to re-center the study and coverage of disinformation around 5th generation warfare, and move from nation-state frames towards network frames. This “sovereign” network is global and has specific aims. A focus on that vs. “nation” motivations will usually be better.
If you have not yet read my six part series on the Big History behind January 6th, please do so, as it puts this all into some perspective. This is the final installment in that series, a ‘coda’ to the six part history.
And, to be clear: I think there is some value in some cryptocurrency designs. To the degree to which some are trying to enshrine libertarian values in code, I think they are dangerous, especially if that transition is done covertly and without consensus.
And taking economies from what has been a fairly successful run with Keynesian economics into some kind of 19th century Dickensian economics without a plan and discussion is a recipe for collapse and war. Which is why Bannon likes it. All of this needs ☀️ and exposure.
What I object to: fools like Musk, Thiel, West, Eric Weinstein, Lisa Clapier, Robert David Steele and their dozens of collaborators deciding that this is the right path for the world and executing a plan to achieve it in stealth. Take a seat. Who do you think you are?
How about this freak? Foster Gamble, heir to the Procter and Gamble fortune. Go ahead, watch his anti-Semitic hate film, filled with UFO nonsense and “free energy” toruses. He is 100% behind this sham “movement” filled with I AM cultists. Who elected him?
People saw what Gamble was up to ten years ago with his first Thrive film. Anti-Semitic authoritarian garbage that will take people back to feudalism. But make it new-agey so people on the left will fall for it.
And Lisa Clapier, who ran comms at Occupy LA even hosted a screening of Thrive there. The fact is that Occupy was chock full of libertarian fascist cultist infiltrators trying to convert people to their movement. A reckoning is coming on that as well.
And bad news for lefties who shill for Assange: he is the cause célèbre of this hive of libertarian state-busters. Why? They are about the same thing. They think nation states are a “conspiracy” and they seek to end them. Read this; really read it.
It’s worth noting that when Nancy MacLean published “Democracy in Chains” in 2017, she was subject to a barrage of unwarranted personal attacks by those who wished for the curtain she pulled back to remain closed. But being right is its own reward.
MacLean, a consummate scholar, whose book was published by Duke University Press spent 10 years researching her subject. Pushback on it directed at NPR was based not on the substance of her work, but the fact their review of it was done by a novelist.
The Koch ‘interrelated plays’ strategy depends on the public’s ignorance of it. Anyone who shines light on it is going to be subject to attacks of all kinds. When there is no substantive attack, attacks will be in bad-faith and ad hominem.
😳 Wow, so an astute reader found the full program for the Schlafly Eagles 2019 event. The one that featured Ali Alexander, Scott Presler, Carpe Donktum, Steve Bannon, et al... read for a full understanding of the #CNP mindset 13 months prior to #Jan6. phyllisschlafly.com/council/
Notable: China as the big enemy. Cassandra Fairbanks on “fighting fake news.” 🤪 Juan Guandolo, who would go on to amplify the #Jan6 siege. Hungary and Poland Nazis in the house, too. So many other usual suspects too. newsweek.com/right-wing-act…
And this is fun: the Homemaker of the Year Award goes to.... Mrs. Cindy Biggs, wife of January 6th insurrectionist, AZ Rep. Andy Biggs! 👀 #StandByYourMan
And it’s good to see Jack Singlaub’s name on all this too... the OG OSS Jedburgh Gold Bug!
Just as we are abandoning the frame of left/right (as ODNI did recently), we should limit the use of “nation state” as a frame for influence campaigns.
No country is a monolith; each country contains factional networks of power that exert influence internally and abroad.
This is one reason why “Russian meddling” was such a bad paradigm for understanding what has happened the last several years.
It was a networked operation containing Americans, Russians, Brits, French, Germans, Poles, Hungarians, Italians, Australians, Chinese, Iranians.
We need to focus on mapping out power networks and how they persist over time. Trump is a symptom, and is NOT the seat of power. The plutocrat network will persist in 20, 50 years. The question is whether it will have captured all democracies by then, or indeed if it already has?
Occupy -> Pizzagate -> Unity4J -> QAnon. Missing a few key people here but it’s ok, they know who they are. 🇷🇺 🇺🇸 🇦🇺 🇩🇪 🇫🇮
The rot is deep.
What you should take away from this is that these operations are all interlinked. The misdirection is any suggestion they are separate. These people, and others, are the link.
And the entire Seth Rich lie too. Many ridiculous things over the last 10 years can be traced back to this band of bad faith actors.
THREAD: Trying an experiment. There are maybe a few key themes in the realm of “metapolitics” that determine how history and politics actually play out. Get to know them. Here’s a primer.
Philosophically, do you prefer:
Do you think intelligence collection should be performed:
Do you prefer nationalism and bilateral alliances, or broad multilateral alliances?
I’m writing this series that explains the “Big History” behind January 6th — and the real story spans decades. Here’s what happened, and why—and importantly, how we might keep it from happening again. This is Part 1 of 6. More soon!
