So 300+ people have landed on my profile from my last tweet (of which ~250 are probably Issues Managers... π) and I just want to say both HELLO ππΌ and that while I may use humor and satire to express my point, I do believe that my expectations are reasonable: (1/4)
I believe that there should be evidence of the public health plan changing in response to changes in the virus and what we know about the virus in our community, and I believe that our elected officials should be communicative, responsive to all stakeholders, and transparent. (2)
I donβt feel that my two reasonable expectations are being met, Iβm personally affected by them not being met, and I want better for myself and this province. Thatβs me in a nutshell. (3)
Also, I really miss a) leaving the house π and b) traveling. Here are some pictures I took in destinations (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Myanmar and Armenia) that remind me that Canada and Alberta are worth fighting for. (4/4)

Hereβs a long 𧡠about some of what bugs me about the proposed #abed Social Studies 6 curriculum.
Remember, the kids learning this stuff are about eleven years old. They like fart jokes. They stick French fries in their nose, and they need help if they think a piece got stuck.
First, they have to learn about religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam each get their own outcome, with eight, eight and three learning outcomes, respectively. To me, thatβs not balanced. π€
Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism get lumped together, with three, three and four outcomes each. Sikhism is framed in relation to Christianity, but not vice versa.
